Hi Guys
I'm heading down to Devon next week with a few other bikers, however from Thursday till Saturday I'll be touring the area on my own. I've no itinery for where I'll be going, that all depends on you! lol

If you live in any of these counties, how about inviting me along for a tea stop (and cake!)?
I expect most, if not all, meets to be nothing more than a tea stop (with cake!), a chat and then off to the next one. Depending on the response that should take up the daytimes and then hopefully get to meet some of you in the evening for a beer/bite to eat.
These stops can be at your place, a roadside burger bar, cafe, pub or anything similar. I really don't mind. I'll even pay for your cuppa if it helps coffee

You can even suggest somewhere and bring a flask!
All I need to know is a location and whether you wish to meet up either in the morning, afternoon or evening, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. If anyone is wanting to meet up in the evening, please can you give me suggestions for local accommodation as your knowledge of your area is better than mine.
This is open to any site member, be you male, female, single, married, couple, whatever. If we've met before, fine. If not, that's fine too. Remember it's just a cuppa and a chat with absolutely no commitment to anything else unless you get the urge!
Once I've plotted my route I'll post on here the towns I'll be going to, then if you feel you are close enough to the route you can either meet where I'm going already or suggest a new place.
Sarah will not be joining me on this as she isn't a biker :sad:, plus she is also working, however if there are any bikers out there who want to join me on any part of the ride, please let me know - it all adds to the fun!! :lol:

I had one other response from north of you, which, on its' own wasn't worth a trip, but two in the same direction does! lol

I'll PM you my number and we can arrange a time and place.
Plan B is now to head oop Norf, then ride the Peak district National Park and then overnight somewhere in the general area of Manchester-ish.
If anyone else wants to meet up for a cuppa, suggest a route or accommodation or wants to ride along today or tomorrow, please let me know on here and PM me a phone number. I will have internet access whilst out so can pick up your messages.

It could well be that he did have a bad time after meeting you (not caused by you, I hasten to add!) and just wanted time to sort himself out. He's back in touch and given you his reasons why he dropped off the radar, so if you enjoyed yourselves with him, do it again, but don't rush him. If you're meeting him too regularly then it might come across as clingy, so just take your time with him.
Having seen you in chat and read your profile and seen your pics I think he would be an absolute fool not to want to see you both again, so don't get hung up on it. I'm sure when he gets the chance to fully explain he will and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
In the meantime...............I'm free!!! lol

It seems the weather has taken a turn for the better which just happens to match my long weekend off - yippeeeeeee!!! lol

I've got Friday planned as I'm out biking with a pal of mine, but Saturday through to Monday I have no set plans. The closest I've got to a plan is to just get out and ride!
Ok, I said no plans but I do sort of, have a very loose plan. blink

What I'd like to attempt is to meet at least one site member in as many counties as possible. We live near Milton Keynes so I'm hopeful for invites from anyone across the whole of the South of England. If this idea catches on and turns out to be as much fun as I hope it to be I will do it again, but pick other areas with a view to covering (eventually) the whole of the UK.

3). Know all the local dogging sites! :lol: there's a guy up North who's burger van was on a prominent, well-known dogging layby. He knew who was who but was always discreet!!

I've got a Nikon Coolpix S9100, which is 12.1 megapixels with an 18x wide optical zoom and full HD with video and stereo recording. Cost less than £200 and takes great pics :twisted: and also does special effects too.
