OK so what is this thread all about? It is obviously getting itself into dangerous territory (mod/member disagreements aside) It ultimately is trying to talk about religion (and what did my dear old long departed da' say....... never argue politics or religion son)
From what I have read in here it is about what the U.S. has decided over many years is the correct (possibly read PC here) way to deal with a multi-ethnic society.
The U.S. decided that to teach beliefs was wrong, and now the religious (probably read christian) right are now hitting back with ID.
With the current reaction to the ID thing it is possible that our U.S. cousins are about to find out that perhaps a better route to take is one of balance and moderation.
I personally believe that our children at an early age should be taught the fundamentals of scientific belief (including Darwin theory) as well as the fundamentals of all the "common" religions (which would include christianity, Islam, Hindu, Budism to name but a few) This happened when I was at school and I finished school in 1970 FFS..........
It is then down to the individual to work through their own beliefs..... ultimately this is what we try to do in the U.K (and no we don't always get it right) so why can't others (i.e. the U.S.) do the same?

Sounds good and doesn't seem too expensive either .............. hhmmmm have to think about this place

Err Martin's response was It will be looked at when the main part of the site is sorted out
Martin's response was to answer something that was asked of him in a PM. As Missy has just pointed out, Martin said that it would be looked out once the main part of the site was sorted out.
To get an understandimg of the context in which he responded, you'd have to find out who asked him the question in the first place I guess
from us Postie have a good un
Yeah mine says that as well................ but as I live and swing with her, it's hard to lie convincingly
Well we like it that people don't know what we get up to. There was a situation in the village recently where the gossip mongering got out of control about an alleged swap between two consenting adult couples.
It was great for us to let the gossip go in one ear and out the other, then get indoors, look at each other, say if only they knew what WE got up to, then piss ourselves laughing
No we don't care what people think or say about us in general, but we keep our swinging activities private as we have genuine reasons for doing so, in addition we find it enhances the thrill that people don't know.
Harry you misearable git.............. get some self control............ or buy one of them timer thingies run the PC thru it and at the set time off the power goes and SH disappears into the ether. Assuming you don't use a laptop, It should work for a while at least untill you bugger up the OS ........ knowing you though you'd forget to set the bleedin thing and you'd still be online at stoopid o'clock.
It's a problem, that I too suffer from. H likes this place but reckons I am too obsessive, and she has told me that if I don't get off of here by pm then nooooo nooky for me
