Stews.............. happy memories of when I was single........... Would make up a huge mincemeat stew, with tatties, peas, carrots, ............... cook it on a sunday, then just reheat it all week........ and yes it used to sit in the pan on the cooker all week :shock:

Yes we would be very keen on that idea. I think there was some silly court juddgement that might make it harder to sell adult DVDs online, but other things could be traded. This could be open to scams though.
We are both soft swingers, so for us it would be great if the new version of SH could have an ads category for soft swingers.
I am going to start a thread for site idea's, hope i won't get told of hehehe

There are "swinging" sites out there already that allow peeps to sell used (as in unwashed) items of lingerie as well as Paycam shows etc, .......... do we really need this on SH?

Ben, Martin is right on this one sorry......... He runs a business to make money. His business has just bought SH......... it too will need to make money.
We have concerns about the changes this will make to the SH community, but Martin is at least listening.
We do not know what will happen yet, but it is wrong to judge just because SH is now part of a profit making concern. Lets see the changes then judge.

Agreed TE to all those that think I am naive, I prefer to think I am cautiously optimistic, and I think that goes for a lot of others as well.
I agree with you Dawn, and I said something along the same vein on the previous page of this thread, only I didn't put it as so concisely as you did............. BUT
I remember a thread running on here within the last two months (I'll go and look for it), that was basically taking the piss out of a certain swinging site that had registered similar sounding names to SH (Swining Heaven for example), so that if people inadvertently made a typo when searching for SH they would be taken to their site............. Yes this is the same mob !
I still stand by what I said I want this community to survive, because I like those of you that H and I have met, and I know by what a lot of people post we would really get on well with a lot of the others if we get to meet one day. But I think it is good that anything people are finding out now about the new owners does get posted, because at least then we know who we are dealing with. There is no need to jump ship yet and hopefully there will never be any need, but at the same time lets look at what these guys are already into

The new owners have clearly said who they are and posted their web address in here.... just go and find it 
Yes everything that has been said on this page of the thread has got merit, and indeed could well be what happens to SH BUT It is down to the community to ensure that the changes to the core areas namely the forums and chat are as minimal as is also down to the community to keep the community alive.
Yes there could well be pop ups all over the place, but we've all got ad blockers haven't we?? As far as people coming to the site to look at the freak show........ that happens already doesn't it?........ Isn't this why we are careful with the locations of socials and munches, to stop the press (amongst others) getting involved.
On that topic, is it really in the Symbios Group interest to be associated with what the News of the Screws or the other crap press may or may not say about us from time to time. OK the press can view the site and comment as they already do, but I think the new owners would be just as upset as the rest of us if for instance the security of a social or munch was breached.
On intellectual property rights and pictures......... lets get an assurance from the new guys that any pictures we post will stay on the site and not be used elsewhere. Do also remember If I was that dishonest, I or any one else could simply nick what is on display and use it elsewhere already......... you could eventually catch up with me but it would probably take a very long time........... so is this really as big a problem as it seems?
Please do not think I am pro what is happening to this site, because I was as saddened as everyone else was, and yes if everything that has been posted does happen, then H and me will also have to go to pastures anew........... what I am saying is lets all at least try to keep this community alive..... We have enjoyed reading what a lot of you have written and we look forward to meeting a lot of you in the future either socially or maybe more intimately. That connot possibly happen if we all scatter and head for the hills......... and that would be very sad
