the thing i rermember most about christmas in my teens, was getting hammered on christmas eve and having chicken soup for xmas dinner 
(couldnt face owt else and happened every year for about five years).
This after takin bloody hours to open prezzies that i couldnt focus on and my youngest brother giving me a pack of two mars bars with one missing.(the git got hungry while wrapping but left the outer wrapper on) and to top it all it turned out my mum had givin them to him to put in cos he only bought me a book.

Bev asked about whether a gay couple would be welcomed in the same way as other couples at a munch. From what you have all said, i think that's been answered. The kissing thing is another issue and wasn't what she asked. She asked so that a couple she talks to, could be put at ease about going to a munch.

Huge thanks to Steph and Voddy for all they did to make last night great. We thought it was brill, and great to meet lots of new faces. I'm sure there were lots of nervous people there last night who will now be telling new members that the best way to meet loads of lovely people is at a munch
We didn't do the afters party but it sounds as if you alos had a great time :D
