Hi there all, does anyone on the site live close or for that matter anywhere close to Largs, I will be there 22/23rd June to play sport and would love to meet up with someone/some people for a bit of social 'criac' on an evening and maybe see where we go from there. What does anyone think??
Does anyone know any progress report on the lovely Clare and Steve who were great fun on this site before the enforced 'lay off'?
Who would have thought it......80 seconds to go.......England 24 Ireland 21.....then...........a late converted try - England 24 Ireland 28.........it's never over till the fat lady sings!
I wonder if it is at all possibe, I find that daily, I liaise (telephone/e-mail) with a person who works in Swansea (government work). Over the weeks we have gotten quite friendly and 'reading between the lines' I believe that she spends a fair amount of time on either this site or one of the others that are up and about and I have certainly given enough hints that I might visit some forums that she may use. A little innuendo and 'tongue in cheek' conversation has lead me to wonder if maybe we could possible confirm each others presence - she will know that, who it is she speaks to daily is from NI (as my profile states) and perhaps if she is here then if she PM's me or just answers this thread with a question that only we would/could possibly know the answer to, then maybe we can...........................
Sorry to join sooooooooooooooooooooo late, but here you go............
not great, but not crap either.
........................the lovely Clare and Steve, who gave us soooooooooooooo much on this site, until recent illness meant an enforced 'lay off' - I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything?
Cum - what's that? Haven't done that for a while - but used to be in the 'try all of the above group' - got to satisfy the ladies, don't you know.
Sorry folks but please tolerate the bump - I need to try just one last time.
send me copy of the picture and I'll tell you what I'd do................................no seriously, why don't you follow it up with an apology and a brief, uncomplicated explanation, I know that I would appreciate that and of course, the knowledge that some rampant young lady hadn't just sent her valentines message a little early (think of the fantasies that could inspire - now there's an interesting topic for post).
I have been a bit envious of late with the thoughts that all you lovely people get to do socials, munches and all manner of things and with me being so bleedin far away, it's almost impossible, so I can't easily get there. So the point of the 'post' is this........it may fall on it's arse (or on deaf ears, but)..........does anyone think that it might be a possibility that some or many of you would/could see yourselves traveling to a social/munch or other type of event in Northern Ireland. I have a few very good contacts in the hospitality sector and I know that with a little constructive planning I could get access (for a very reasonable cost) to a small holiday cottage development where up to 30 peolpe of like minds could get together for a weekend of fun, laughter and all else. The cottages are situated on a stunning piece of Northern Ireland and with planning there should't be a problem with 'cheap' flights from many reional airports in the UK. We could party, BBQ, walk, talk, sight see, eat, drink and get merry and BE merry and enjoy some new surroundings into the bargain. I would be very willing to make the arrangements for transport within Northern Ireland and plan some extra special things to do while you would be there. If anyone thinks that this could be a 'runner' - post or PM me and I'll see about turning the dream into a reality - come on I know from my chats with lots of you, you are simply dying to visit (or revisit) NI, so why not make your first or next trip a very special one indeed.
What do any of you think - by the way this is simply not me trying to avoid the trouble of making my own arrangements to travel to a mainland event, lots of people know that I have tried to do just that but throughbad luck and timing, for one thing or another, I have been disappointed.
Come on - let's get even more adventurous than usual - late Sept, October or even November would be great times in a cottage with a nice log fire etc.

...............it gets better with time (from one Irish to another), don't force it just take your time and someone will get back to you........................I've not given up hope yet!
.......................you prescribed as much nsa fun as possible but due to the fact that I'm here in Northern Ireland (even though I'm willing to travel or be otherwise flexible) 'I can't get no satisfaction'. Are there no other like minded people in Northern Ireland (single females or couples) who might like to use this wonderful site to introduce ourselves to each other. My god we don't have to F**K on the first, second, third meeting.....christ we don't have to F**K at all - but let's just get in touch and see if there's anything that we might like to do, instead of just sitting on our hands building the frustration and feeling 'left out, sidelined and ignored.
Good morning lovely Lissa,
Have you given any more thought to the chance of a nice trip to Northern Ireland - if you remember I outlinned Aa proposal to you some time ago - based aroud the NW 200 or any other weekend - you do get more fulfilling with every new picture of you I see.
..............I am at a very loose end, since the cancellation of the Nottingham Social on 28th January 2006.
I had planned to attend the event together with playing in a squash tournament over the weekend 27/29 January 2006. Sadly through no fault of anyone the event has (as many of you will know) had to be cancelled, so............if there is anyone out there who would like to meet up and share one of my evenings there (in Nottingham , I have a nice city centre hotel booked) with me, I would be very pleased and indeed most humbled. I would be very willing to enjoy an evening of food and some wine with either, a single lady, a couple, or even a married lady playing on her own and if there was the opportunity of some fun afterwards, then that would be a huge bonus. Please feel free to drop me a PM is this thought stimulates you at all and we can chat things over, there is bound to be someone else who had made arrangements that have now been dashed.
BTW - Respect to Clare and Steve for being brave enough to cancel it.
