<<<<<<<< wanders along to google Krispy Kreme.
I've never heard of it redface surprisedops:

its a place thats sells the WORLDS best donuts. loads of different flavours.. there is one in Selfridges in Birmingham.. i tend to pop in for one or two when i'm wandering through.
some times when the chat is in full flow you can find it hard to break into the chat.. its nothing personall, and you just need to keep trying.. I tend to find joining in on the banter in the room helps..

i'm a single girl and get loads of uninvited whispers and sometimes i just turn pc off as it is stress , look at it from this veiw ,,,,, in chat ur chatting to friends u always talk to and someone whispers u , this takes the text up a row so when like me u get 3 4 or 5 in a row u have then lost the conversation u was having and have to say no to all them , then people u were talking to think u are not responding and u spent the next 10 - 15 mins playing catch up ,
now from my point this is too much over and over again so its not just cause its rude it stop u chatin and doing ur thing so if i get them , i tend to ignore them , if they go on i cut n paste them and so on . it say on my profile to ask and i usually say yes unless its a bad time to get caught up in them ,this is my veiw and hope it helps a little to understand how stressfull uninvited whispers get over and over again ...
thanks , welshdish

this is why i agree with Asking before whispering.
i tend to treat the room the same was as if i was to chat to someone in public... if you was in a crowded bar, place at work, or even at home, would you whisper something in to someones ear with out first saying "can i speak to you for a second" ..probably not.. and why? because its considered rude. so why do the same thing on here.
aslo.... i find chatting to a person for a bit in the main room, and enjoying the banter before asking to whisper, normally results in a more possitive responce
if i go to a Chinese buffet i will explore and try new things.. the only down side to that i never remeber to look at the names of what i have tried. so when i decide to have a Take away. i'm looking up and down the menu and trying to match the name with what i think it was i had the other night.... then after 5 mins i think sod it and go for the same as i did last time "sweet & sour Chicken, Yung Chow rice and BBQ sauce.
If i'm ordering Pizza or a Curry then do normally try something different.
I am a very private person... and the only people that need to know about what i do or get up to is the people i share the time with.... and the same goes for things that are said to me.. everyone that knows me, knows that what is shared with me goes no further.. as i personally feel that, Yes everyone in the swinging world tends to be more open about them self.. but there are times when you need to be discrete to build a certian trust between others.
well as most of the northern lot travel down south for the socials / munches, only fair i'd do the same, so depending on dates. i'd love to come along.
thank you for a superb evening..
i had a great time.. even if my Claim to be innocent has now gone completely out of the window redface
was nice to meet some new faces, and all ways great to see the same regualr people there. just can't beleive that i spent all evening in the bar... ive never been that socail before.
Thank you Ali for organising it. and i look forward to the next one.
are jaffa cakes... cakes ? surely the hint is in the name of them!.. they would be called Jaffa Tea's or Jaffa nobs if they were biccies!
as regards Marmite.. it is foul. i remember having to eat half a jar full, due to a forefit back at school.. it made me sick!.. nearly as bad as bovril.
