So if you want to be treated like adults then start behaving like 'em as well - grow up and stop whingeing.
.

Huh?
It's an adult's right to "whinge". We do it so well.
And perhaps you should get off your pious high horse and recognise that fact. What you call "whingeing" (sic) others call discussing something they see as a problem.
thanks for that!

shouldnt they be asking the profile holder instead of reporting, this i swing site we expect to see pics of third parties of profile for evidence and pics has at times been used as a revenge tatic by some forumist who lost arguments,it would be pointless to ban third party pics but i suggest an email should be provided for every third party persons on profile so the mods can verify

I don't expect to see evidence that someone has played confused
And pictures wouldn't be deleted for revenge - why would you think that? The only ones who can delete are mods and admin.
I think FB that Phuckers might of been saying that maybe someone who has had a spat on forum with another may of reported said other members pic's if they were in any way 'iffy' as being suspicious out of spite.
If i'm wrong Phuckers i'm sorry but thats how i read it

I agree, Lost - that's how I read it. But if a member had reported pictures, a mod/admin would still have to agree that they were not acceptable; they wouldn't just delete them when reported if nothing were amiss.
no comment
So why comment?? dunno Seemed a perfectly reasonable point to make.
I think that what a lot of members don't realise is that the Mods put in a phenomenal amount of work here for practically no reward. So things take 24 hrs to clear - well yer f***ing lucky it's that quick!
If anyone thinks that the Mods here are going to spend more than a second or two in deciding whether a photo is OK or not, then you've really got to examine the realities of life - tough shit if it don't meet yer particular sensitivities.
How the f**k do you think that the Mods are going to manage to be sure that all 3rd parties have given consent completely beats me. Does anyone honestly think that they are going to go around and check every 3rd party to be sure?? Sure as hell - they ain't and so the only sure way is to ban anything which might give a clue as to a third party's identity. And even then there'll be some rough edges one way or another.
So if you want to be treated like adults then start behaving like 'em as well - grow up and stop whingeing.
.
and who told you that's what the fuck i meant, when i said 'no comment' means i dont want to cry over spilled milk, whether the mods get paid or not is none of my business
absolutely NO,but i would like to execrise my vote of no confidence to one or two of them!

Just to get this back on track -

I haven't seen constructive arguments here. I've seen people complaining about their pics being deleted, not a sensible, reasonable, constructive consideration of how the problem can be resolved. If you came up with a way of doing that we would love you to bits, but currently that is not the way you come across.
Mal

why dont you act on the complains then, this third party issue has been hanging on for we see someone frastrated their pics have been deleted and yet they can see similar pics on others profile,i did give a suggestion but that was stumped out immediately...

Phuckers, I don't think any of the mods would actively seek revenge on anyone by doing as you suggest. One thing is that it would have to ba something really crapola to want revenge another is that life is too short.
Personally I wouldn't report a photo unless I knew it or suspected it to be wrong/bad/ not right. I may know a photo may be of someone other than the person in the photo's partner or the such by maybe something such as an obvious mark, a tattoo or scar but unless I had a reasons other than those i'd not say anything, It does smack of being a grass in some sense I feel. But hey I stress if I was concerned I would and have reported a photo.

you are right Lost i was only stating my experience it wasnt a mod directly responsible

am afraid i dont get your point, lets hope the poll's outcome is acted upon

And where the heck did you pluck that notion from :lol2:
am speaking from experience,i had the same pics for over 6 months, but the minute i joined the forum they got deleted within a week,i had someone question me why i had"pics of a white female on my profile"yet i claim to be single male..there was no faces shown
But how can you say it was someone in the forum who reported your photo's because they lost an argument dunno

I view a couples account and I see lots of photos of a male appearing with different females, which two own this account?

thought i also ought to say that;
if everyone involved in the pic agrees to it being used i really don't see what the problem is. all it takes is a pm from that person to the mods to say so. likewise, if they change their minds it should be taken off.
whips

The reason it would cause an issue is because if we allowed third party pics in this way, they would be reported time and time again. Admin and Mods would be trying to explain many times why a third person shot has been allowed.
We would also get the people saying, 'their pics are allowed, why aren't mine?', causing much more work.
BTW, if you consider the amount of pictures we do have onsite, this is a very small issue. Some weekends we have close on 1 picture a minute uploaded. You really can look at too much filth
this is not a small issue by far check the polls,i once had 10 of my pics deleted without my knowledge including the ones i was by myself...the rules are very clear on this third party issue but it seems so misinterpreted
third party pictures rules need to be much clearer, because now and again we seem to fall foul of it,but two things i dont understand is..it takes over 24hrs from uploading new pics to be verified by the site why cant they decline it then and secondly if they can allow third party faces on cams what the big deal about having faceless consented pics of third parties on profile,..

You got that as wrong as a wrong thing can be.
If anything you are describing the 'Right'.
Right = conservative (with a small C) (excluding the far right of course).
excalty lefty is being conservative to any authority in power,in promoting their ideas

What a surprise the regulars take the side of the regulars, simple fact is, she had no need to comment on it, if the person that made the ad had commented, then fair enough.
And if it was a slanging match I would call her names, but as I said, if there is an oportunity to have a kick at single males, she's usually first in the queue!

have never seen a paranoid single male like you..relax mate!

You will probably find this suprising coming from me, but for me, the forum (or more to the point - the Cafe) has become so PC that I dare not post here!!
As a Mod, everything I write is taken as being from a Mod, instead of being from me, so if I am trying to have a bit of fun, I receive PMs telling me that I am out of order and that I should be more responsible. rolleyes
I beleive after all the years that I have been here that you get the Cafe that you deserve, and this is it for now!! It will continue to evolve - sometimes better and sometimes worse!! confused confused confused confused

can you have a second username?because on the other hand i have to be extra careful responding to a mod
i come to forum for the challenge, although am ashamed to say am directly responsible for many good threads being locked, but it only happen when someone goes off topic and start being personal....but about minx locked thread i can only apologise and say have learnt something new,so no further comment!

I don't in most cases think prison is a good thing for either the 16 years old or society and that everything possible should be done to avoid it. Imprisonment should be an absolute last resort. 16 is too young. Any age is too young really

Then get them to be like 99% of people, and be a law abiding citizen. If they cant or wont, then the only answer is to stop them, and in my book the only messsage they seem to understand is harsh punishments.
We have spent years doing the softly softly approach, for what? Kids have no respect, no boundaries and more importantly no fear of anyone or anything. Thats what the softly approach has achieved. we have done the soft approach and it aint working, nows the time to start getting tough. Then and only then will things improve.
softly softly is the new govt. stupid laws to give more powers to kids do has they wish, you cant even smack your own child for fear of them being taken away from the govt goes ahead and introduce a military asbo medals system ,other cities put the pics of this juvenile criminals on buses to ashame them, the future is so doomed!
am against kids being put behind bars, but there are some exception cases where its the only death sentence in America has never stopped capital crimes so we shouldnt expect prisons to deter this knuckle heads, lack of the cane and discipline in school contribute to alot of this juvenille crimes...this kids are crying for help the system is against them at all odds!
