I don't tend to go on cam but I've had as many unwanted whispers from couples as single guys and even single women, even though my profile says I'm not looking for them. Like I said, sensible room hosting is the best way to get rid of this, however kicking someone merely because they have a certain profile and before they've even put finger to keyboard is not entirely fair is it?

I am sure most people know the rules of using chat and will report anyone they feel has become a nuisance - and I have to agree with H-X - it is NOT always single males who whisper uninvited.
I have lost count of the times I have been in chat in my non op account, only to get whispers asking if I want to talk dirty with them/swap MSN details/go on cam etc etc - and probably at a ratio of 1 in 4 of such whispers are from couples accounts
So I, as I am sure have the other op's had first hand experience of this.
H-X also says about booting someone on account of their status not being fair - I agree - but it is also against the rules and anyone who is reported as doing so, will have the room logs checked by admin and receive an official warning or ban, depending on the severity of the situation.

I think the Ops should make special note of this too. The idea that all single guys are automatically are problem is akin to saying all men are rapists.
This statement I do have a problem with and hope that it may be that I have taken it out of context.
It reads to me that the suggestion is that the op's are on the look out for single males causing problems - almost as if we are persecuting them, and perhaps not noticing any other account status which may also cause trouble? :?
If that is what is being inferred, I can only say how sad that makes me feel as a op
Every single one of us work bloody hard behind the scenes, and I can say in all honesty, there is not one single chat op that I would see as being as bigoted as to single out certain accounts types for special note as to their behaviour.
Day in, day out, we see problems arise involving ALL account types.
We treat them all the same - and single males certainly do NOT get treated more harshly than couples or fems.
My personal feeling is this - we only ever swing with single males - and we have met some fantastic guys from this site and have remained very close friends with many of them. Thus we know first hand that not all single guys are idiots.
However, when we go in to chat - that is what we do - chat.
I couldn't give a fiddler's fart if the guy I am talking to is a 3ft midget with one leg - no offense to midgets with one leg btw ;-)
Of if the couple have only one eye each in the middle of their forehead
We are there to CHAT!
I am personally not a fan of segregating rooms by account types, but since having couples only rooms was one of the most requested features for the new chat rooms, it is one that will be provided on a trial basis. As Dawn says, if it doesn't work out, then it will be removed.
Now can we all get back to chatting nicely again?
