Thinks, this boy will go far...
I knew I had it somewhere! I've just dug out Tallis' Spem in alium by The Clerkes of Oxenford (1973).
It's been playing while I should have been compiling a matrix, instead I've sat here dreaming.
God, I love this thread!

Wow, first ref I've seen to Feargus O'Connor on here. Physical force as opposed to moral!!!

I think you could be missing something, TDnH. The plot perhaps? lol
As long as it doesn't take four hours, I don't mind. I'm not hard to please! wink

Slim, you might want to define your parameters here. For instance age groups of the older man and the young lady concerned.
From a female perspective - and a purely personal one - I prefer older men. I couldn't entertain a man under 30, possibly under 35.
I'm 37 - I don't feel it, and I've been told I don't look it - but being thirty-something now places me in the older woman category doesn't it?

Ah, but Will - you always get there in the end! Your turn to make the tea by the way... kiss
As for music and song, each to there own aye without negative feed back.

Well said, Fred. kiss

The beauty of this thread is that artists and tracks are being mentioned which I haven't heard of before and I'm intrigued enough to go and listen to them.
In that respect, if a CD is put together it will widen all our tastes and musical knowledge, and at the same time show what a diverse and yet unified lot we are. Only one suggestion... I'm wondering whether it shouldn't be two CDs - one classical and one popular?

Yes please, Dawn! I know we'd all appreciate you organising it on our behalf. Any help you need on the contacting and admin side give me a shout.

Deep breaths gentlemen, long, slow, deep breaths... now imagine an island, sparkling sea, blue sky, white fluffy clouds... float above the island and let yourself drift... keep breathing... there you go...
Better now?
I hope Artificer, the Sarge and HornyLondon are feeling so much calmer now...
Right, off to thump a cushion to hell and back.

Turning of a Friendly Card - Alan Parsons Project

Thank you Fred - you've just made me smile. It's years since I've heard the Alan Parsons Project - I'm thinking of his Edgar Allan Poe album. Loved it when I heard it.
There's also Curved Air's 'Vivaldi' to be considered in the list too. So many wonderful tracks...

Did someone whisper my name? Morning Sarge...
Feenix! Hi! A belated welcome to the Forum from me - apologies for that! I've enjoyed your posts so far and I'm looking forward to seeing more coming.

See you all at 8pm!
Hi James,
Well clubs aren't really my thing so I can't comment on the scene, but not ALL single guys are sad, lecherous types. It's been pointed out here many times before that it's the few who let down the majority of decent blokes out there.
Where would us single girls be without single guys for those one to one occasions? I'm proud to number many single guys from this site and off it as friends - whether I've met them or not, and whether I've had sex with them or not.
Do not despair - there are couples and single women out there who prefer single guys.

What a post Carpathian! Personally I think music is more important in sex than food because it sets and enhances the mood.
The sexiest piece of music I can think of is from the film The Wicker Man when the spell is being woven to ensnare the visiting policeman. Wish I had a recording of that.
But from my own collection?
Freebird by Lynerd Skynerd has to be the ultimate closely followed in extremely catholic order by Scarlatti, Geminiani; The Small Faces' Autumn Stone; Sting's Desert Rose, and the Gotan Project album La Revancha del Tango... there are so many it's impossible to choose!
Love the idea of a Swinging Heaven album - sure it would knock Friends Reunited off the charts!
Sappho, now madly hunting through her albums
Kit - I saw the same thing, but I thought he'd just nicked Bluexxx's logo.
Honey,
Firstly, welcome to SH!
I think the NW Munch last Saturday was such a success that if you planned a similar event - on whatever scale - you'd be inundated with guests!
Have fun in the forum!

Oh, now this is getting strange. First Carpathian:
trying to slide an envelope full of trifle into somebodys box.....

and then Gman:
Breath freshening strips ( come in a tiny dispenser ) placed on nipples and then wetted sufficiently to have them melt

More research, definitely more research.
Carpathian is absolutely right, Lancashire Lass - have fun in the forum!

Naughty Carpy, teasing like that.
Funny thing about voices - some people sound incredibly sexy on the phone. I once had to have several conversations with a bloke through work. He had a voice like warm chocolate over gravel. Fairly made the hairs on the back of my neck rise up every time I spoke to him. Never met him though - wonder what he looked like...?
One of those unresolved and fleeting encounters...
