A little off topic, but did the members here take these pics themselves?
If they did then top marks, they are really excellent pictures.

Ours were our own pictures, Skye ones are not as good quality as it was before Dek got the decent camera's
The middle picture is well remembered the kid ran to the top of the hill then decided to roll down it was November, everything was a bog :scared: Ever seen a mud monster in the shape of a 7 year old? luckily there was a stream to dunk him in :lol2:

That phone call only happened this afternoon, I give up sometimes :giggle: Nope brains certainly were not divided equally, I got slightly more brains and she got the (a lot) bigger breasts lol

well am home finally after setting off at for the 2 hr drive home pah!
had a really odd sense of dejavu though, this very same weekend last year after leaving wigan Tan Kinky and myself found ourselves sat on the side of the M62 cos my car was billowing out grey smoke, (as many of you know and commented on last night lol), awaiting the arrival of the AA
oddly enough, today i found myself sitting on the side of the M62 awaiting the arrival of the AA as my sodding exhuast decided to feckin fall off!!!
I am not driving to wigan for next xmas am getting the sodding train!
but
fabulous night, well worth a freezing cold wait on the M62 excellent company, fabulous costumes, huge huge huge amounts of fun and laughs and dances
thank you NWC for yet another fantastic night.
Earthy (sodding cold, hungry and tired)!

If you think that's funny...
...send a text to your home phone. wink

:laughabove: I've done that as well.....
My sister was sending really crappy long jokes to my house phone yesterday  I swear she was doing it to annoy me
what is funny though is when my son does it, now you have to imagine he has a really old broken phone the space button and the nine button does not work... so any texts do not include wxyz or what ever letters is on the 9 button
"to dot mam dot hat dot time dot do dot i dot have dot to dot come dot in dot slash dot question mark"
"ring dot me"
"where dot are dot you dot question mark dot"
"I dot am dot at dot (w)Ard dot ******** (name of the youth club he does to)

On the main forum page thats where I was going wrong. I'll give it a try next time I log in but its gonna throw up all the Topics and I only read the Cafe and now and then the lets meet up so may not be that useful. Would still like a flashy new image on new posts in threads since I last logged on.

I always end up waking the kid up (which changes as normally it is he waking us up)I always wake up really early and every one else is still snoring,
I come down stairs turn the heating up, put the xmas lights on, put kettle on (making lots of noise as I go) talk to myself - usually things like oooh look at all these presents at the top of my voice, make said coffee waft it under Dek's nose for 2 minutes before being very cruel and drinking it myself :lol2::lol2: then I wake the son up usually by jumping on his bed and carrying on like I am 3 :giggle:
The double force that is the son and I then turn on Dek and jump all over him in the bed before he relents and gets up
After a few coffee's I open the champers drinkies
My son is really bad at getting up on xmas day, if I let him sleep like I did a couple of years ago 10am I gave in I just had to wake him up I could not stand it

Wish i had your guts,we spent our first christmas with just us and the kids last year and it was fab, back to the round of visits this year,i need wat ever u got lol

Trust me you don't want nor need it,
In fact I think if it had not been for catty comments from my family over certain things I would still be doing it

I don`t want to have to drive around the fucking countryside on Christmas day picking up and dropping off aged relatives !!!
Think I`ve fixed it this year !!

We have fixed (very much huffed alot of people) this year because we have point blank refused to go anywhere, do anything or invite anyone specially, it was getting beyond a joke and after some rather jealous comments from family members I thought "stuff em"
We are making no plans
We aint visiting ANYONE
If you must visit do not expect fed unless you want christmas chocolates
Do not visit at dinner time on christmas day you aint invited for that part
I am not doing anything on boxing day either
This year is for US
and yes my mother didn't speak to me for 3 weeks following that little outburst lol
Yay !! :bounce: Well done ..
I lived abroad for a few years and never came back for Christmas but there was an open invitation for anybody to come to us . Funnily enough none of the family wanted to travel at Christmas !!!! They still got miffed at the fact that I didn`t want to travel either loon
I mean ...I had a choice ...
Take a couple of days driving back to England and spend Christmas rushing round visiting all the relatives who would get upset if they didn`t get a visit ...
Or ..
Stay in a fairy tale castle with a massive kitchen and huge open fire places and have all sorts of people turning up throughout the Christmas period bringing fantastic food and incredible alcohol and of course good company .........
Errmmmmmm ... as you can imagine ..it was a tricky decision......NOT !!
:giggle: I know what I would choose , I know what you mean about family wanting you to visit them but they are not willing to visit you, Last year I huffed brother and sister because I was not visiting christmas day, they live 1 hour away (we were doing a feasty type thing here on boxing day.. all invited) neither had kids or partners and they still were not willing to visit - ho hum I lost alot of sleep over that lol
