The rule on directing is:
Main rooms (pool, beach bar etc) - No Directing
Main Directing room - directing allowed
User created rooms - directing is allowed unless it states no directing in the room title. The reason why it needs to go into the room title is so everyone is clear before they enter whether it's allowed or not. Any rooms stating "usual rules" or "SH rules" etc mean that directing is allowed (because the usual rules are as above)
wink
Good post, although there was a room for a couple of months in the old chat (on each server) called The Director's Chair - this was a directing room too. Unfortunately very few people used it even when it was highlighted to those doing directing in non-directing rooms.
Hopefully your post will encourage other people to use the new Directing room. Probably need to mention it to people in chat as there are a lot who never venture here into the forums.

Many Happy Returns!!!
Hope you don't get too many blisters on your thumbs :giggle:

this rule will just make swingers clubs into gay clubs as couples wont pay double and allready on the grapevine cpls are moving to prvt party venues

:giggle: and there was me a few years ago mourning the loss of a Greater Manchester gay sauna because it turned into a straight swinging club!
With the exception of default rooms which remain open constantly (e.g. Pool, Beach Bar), rooms only appear when they are created by a member and have at least one person in them. Once the last person leaves, the room automatically closes.
You are free to create a room on any server with any name (providing it complies with site rules).
Does this answer your question or have I misunderstood what you're asking?
Jees, it's Op Anniversary week :giggle:
Congratulations you pair of misbehaving ice-cream stuffing sex stars

Bleerghhh - all this schmaltzy kissy-kissy thingy is just too much to deal with on a Tuesday!!!
:giggle:
Seriously, congratulations!!!!
Do you both get a long service medal now?
Many Happy Returns my little trufflette!

Sorry the cake's a bit late but the cream is still fresh......
Have used a number of freebies in the past and currently have Avast installed - regularly comes out top of polls. I also have Comodo firewall installed (another freebie). They work well together and run on Windows XP, Vista, 7.

...some automation set against that thread.

Just curious - what automation is that?
The room list is not currently showing in server 1. This has been reported and we should hopefully have normal service resumed shortly.

Like you I/we have offered my/our services as chat ops but never received any reply except to aknowledge My/our application had ben received. I use the singular and plural tense as we were told that chat ops 'weren't usually' couples, so I as the male half suggested using my singular male profile.

Hiya - I'll hold my hand up here (as per the pm I've just sent you) that this delay was down to me. Working away from home at the moment so I don't have as much time online as I'd like in the short term, and I missed the response date for your application. So apologies.
wink
We always have single accounts for Ops and Mods so we know which individual is using the account. Some Ops happen to be couples but each has their own account.

Now that would be handy !!! Being able to identify the room host rolleyes Can`t imagine why nobodies mentioned it before dunno

Offender does not necessarily equal room host. Whilst we have people opening/hosting unsavoury rooms, we also have members causing offence and contravening site rules in all sorts of rooms
You`ve completely lost me now !!
So ... the room host might not be the person that opened the offending room ???
We`ve been asking for the ability to hand a room over to another host for years !! When did it happen ??
I think what they mean is that the person showing the undies might not necessarily have been the same person as was hosting the room. Although, granted, it would be a logical deduction, given the undie flashing and the room name 'daughter's undies'

Personal view only (not an Op one): I won't ever do bareback or other clearly unsafe sex with other people. I have this stance for two reasons - I don't want to put myself (and therefore my partner) at risk and I don't want to put anyone else at risk on the miniscule offchance that I've picked something up but not noticed symptoms.
My take on others who do perform bareback with casual partners is that they risk their health each and every time - it saddens me as a gay man to have seen the decimation the gay community has gone through in recent years, only for some straight people still to take the view that "it'll never happen to me". It can and it does.
Having said that, I would not impose my views onto what someone else should do. It is their personal choice (irrespective of what I think about it) and everyone needs to make their own choice.
Like NWC I really don't see the link between members advertising their preferences (including bareback) and the site "promoting" them.
I was going to say I'm always bra-less, but I think I'll stick to "I rarely wear a bra" instead

This should more correctly known as MSN Messenger. 'MSN' is the portal of the Microsoft Network.
Messenger forms part of the Windows 'Live' suite of applications and can be downloaded free of charge from MSN @
The application allows you to converse with other users via text / video / voice and upload or download files.
99 times out of a 100 it's more of a pain-in-the-butt!!

 for the link, though the name of the programme is now Windows Live Messenger. A more direct link is available here:

Many Happy Returns!!

Hope you enjoy the cake - it was the only one I could (ahem) "liberate" from the Spar so the name's not spelt quite right....

I think having a common shortcut across all areas would be a great idea. I'm not convinced we'd need all of the forum emoticons in chat/IM as it's a more immediate form of typing and we may end up spending a huge amount of time trying to find just the right icon only to find the moment has passed.
We would be limited to what can be displayed in chat and on IM as you need to bear in mind that the main part of the emoticon would need to fit into a single line of text and quite a few of the ones used in the forum are larger than that.
Here's a complete list of what's available in chat if it helps (sorry, no animations):
For me they have to look in proportion (not into ones that are super long but really thin, or look like they used to be 12" but someone's snapped them off and left a stump). I'm not really into ones that taper from a wide base to a point.
Also with Bloke that I can't be doing with ones where the foreskin doesn't peel back - I don't mind cut or uncut really (although my preference is uncut because there's a bit more to play with and they're always more responsive).
I don't mind them bendy or straight - prefer them veiny and love it when the dribble precum. I also have a penchant for those that have an oversized helmet - like a fleshy lollypop!
As for Nola not sharing, I've not been in that position yet

On the question of should she have been able to say this,of course she hould, sorry i am a libertarian, the more we ban,the more people will want to ban,i would prefer to be given the chance to meet her and point out the fallacies in her arguemets,

Should she have been able to say it? Yes. Should she have got away with it? No. It's absolutely right that she was brought to task for what was said, particularly given her position.
It continues to amaze me that we have people in this modern age who think they can cure this "illness" by treatment. The effort would be better put into addressing the hatred that ill-informed clatter-mouths like this woman stir up.
I'd be happy to stand by your side whilst you give her a good pointing out. lol

Sorry, but she is entitled to her opinion as you are yours.

I think your statement is misguided because whilst she may have an opinion, she holds a position which requires she does not air it in the way she has done.
The role of an MP:
Each MP represents a defined area (usually referred to as a constituency). Their role is to work on behalf of all the people in the constituency - even those who did not vote for the MP. They are there to help constituents with all matters for which Central Government is responsible.
The law:
On 1st December 2003, the new Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003 came into force. The Government were required to introduce these new anti-discrimination rules as a result of the European Union Equal Treatment Directive.
The effect of the new Regulations is that gay, lesbian, bisexual and heterosexual men and women will be protected from discrimination on grounds of their sexual orientation.

Nuff said
Thanks for reporting this - we'll take a look at what was happening.
Get the thumbs up from me....road-tested and very satisfied thanks. If you're interested in buying one send me a pm and I can recommend a reasonably priced site where there are lots of variations, most with a "drain hole" as they call it lol
And yes, they do need to be sterilised and used properly to avoid infection and damage wink
pmsl - and there was me thinking someone had posted their postcode in here lol
Sometimes it helps to clear your chat (select Room Control, Clear Chat) but other than that there's not a lot else you can do.
I'd like to wish you all a
Merry Christmas
Thanks to all my fellow Ops and Mods (not forgetting the Admin guys) and you members that make it worthwhile for me. We have a great community on here.
