Finished the malt, and have moved on to the cooking oil with batter bits in, with a straw and an umbrella.

Not the umbrella from the "BIoke Department"?!
I thought it was burnt chip bits.

Res, anytime, but I'm delicate, you know.

Careful...I have an umbrella to store... lol

Ah! That's next door in the Bloke department. His speciality I believe. You can even leave it open if he's brought his lube.
I'm afraid you can only slide something warm and velvety onto me.
Preferably not feline, canine or bovine however.

When is Pirate day?

19th of September. I could say I'd had to google it- but I didn't. And yes, I do dress up. It's the only time the gear gets an outing these days. rolleyes

I like a thread filled with humour, and keep going back to read the responses. I quite like it when a 'political' topic goes off at a tangent - if I want politics, I'll read the Current Affairs forum.

Aww cheers!
I'm genuinely chuffed! I thought my posts were about as popular as Nelson Mandela's BNP Leadership application form of late.
Do other folk go through the forum confidence thing or is it just another of my weird foibles? (No, this isn't a 'love me! love me!' thread, I do just wonder whether people feel their motives are questioned at every turn, or whether that's just me being paranoid)
My favourite threads are the funny ones. Silk and Big G's "Swinging on a Budget" thread should be stickied as an example of how to have a good time on here. I cried laughing at some of the posts on there. I also love it when banter gets going, perhaps on a thread that was heading into choppy waters and some sensible folk steer it back to common sense through their good humour and impeccable wordsmithery (that is a word, I just made it up). I find that heartening and it gladdens my tired spirit. It seems conflict is more popular sometimes sadly, which worries me because I didn't really come here for that and I think in such circumstances, the abject toss I tend to post is very much out of place. I still do it anyway from time to time, but I worry that it has quickly grown tiresome.
You've hit posting fatigue stage. It happens to us all- but I was dreading it happening to you, as you genuinely did breathe some new life into the place.
Now you just sit in the corner gathering dust. rolleyes
I do the school run barefoot...I drive barefoot...sail barefoot...and have even been known to shed the shoes & go shopping barefoot...oh, and there was the recent barefoot theme park queuing.
I was daft enough to go to a theme park in a steel boned corset, skirt & heels- so I can't really complain at the hurty feet I guess. redface
We've sustained a long distance arrangement for over 5 years now- and absence makes the orgasms stronger.
At the moment, he's an hour and a half away, and we see eachother for a couple of days every now & then. When he comes here though, it's strictly as a family friend. For the first three years I'd only see him over the summer season when I'd go & crew with him, in the winter, months would go by without a meet.
The distance means that when we do get to spend some time together, it's very full on. There's no opportunity for boredom to set in. We often comment that one night, we'll sleep together & not have sex...but not tonight :rascal:
We're spending a long weekend in nice surroundings together soon...and I can't wait. We may even leave the bedroom for a few hours... rolleyes
Finishing the 14 year old single malt given to us as a thank you for helping some mates with their humping lol
And avoiding doing anything useful, whilst sorting through the stuff to decorate the garden tomorrow for the (sparse) trick or treaters.

i just had a look at someone's profile as they posted on my thread. yup, a single male looking for all sorts including couple with bi male...
either the scatter gun approach or just happy to suck cock but not talk about it.

That could hav been my profile Bruce, I don't mind meeting a couple wherethe guy is bi, just as long as he apreciates that I'm straight and am there to meet his female partner. As I pointed out earlier I had a great time with the wife of a bisexual man once, he just watched,I don't know or care if he had a wank but he didn't touch me accept to shake hands.
What is up with that?

He hadn't washed them.

Modesty is such a turn on, don't you find?
Seriously - Stephen Fry is an incredibly talented man, but he is also a totally lovely man. Ok he'll take a slice of you for mixing your metaphors, but he has never seemed to feel the need to flaunt his many, excellent, achievements. Or, worse still, to drop heavy hints about just how marvelous they are.

stephen fry is an incredibly neurotic man. hes just a very good actor.
Stephen Fry has a serious mental illness. In spite of this, he is also a very good actor, presenter, writer, academic- and incredibly witty, modest, charming individual.
Is that why dentists wear those special goggles? So they don't get man juice in the eye?

Odd, isn't it- but it kinda makes him weirdly sexy too.

and as for calling me an ignorant prat, its stuff like that which will get the thread locked.

Are you calling him simple? dunno
I was at a bar in Greece a couple of years ago with my eldest who was 17 at the time. OH had gone to bed, and it was easily into the wee small hours.
We got chatting to a couple from Liverpool... and the woman evenually asked "so, are you two here as a couple?"
We damn near fell off our bar stools with in absolute hysterics. :giggle:
I had to chuckle the other day when helping some mates move house. I had the honour of unwrapping the new sofas- resplendent in brown leather.
It didn't exactly dispel any myths. lol

We spent yesterday helping two (gay) friends move into their new flat. The youngest two kids "helped" rolleyes
They don't bat an eyelid- they've grown up being shown that gay or straight, black or white, people are just people.
The mother of one of our gay friends turned up to see the new place- and their was an immediate frostiness in the air. I later found out that she harbours hopes that her son will "turn normal" one day.
My (older) parents were of the opiinion that gay's were somehow not normal- perverted even. I understand and don't resent them for it- it's all they ever knew. It would have been incredibly easy for that attitude to have rubbed off on me- it rubbed off on my siblings.
There are people who follow the sheep in every generation. If, at that time, the majority are homophobic, they'll follow. There are also the pioneers. The people who make a stand, and try to rally against irrational prejudice. I hope that within a couple of generations we'll be at a point where the homophobes are outnumbered. It will take time though- one of our daughters met us at the flat briefly with her boyfriend for a lift home. Boyfriend (17) was quite affronted that he'd spent time in a room with gay men.
If you're homophobic- you have every right to be so. If, however, your actions or words perpetuate the prejudice- I will take issue with it.
Ramble over... lol

I'm moving to Alaska.

Super. But lets hope the Alaskan National Party doesn't cotton on, eh? wink
Errrm............there is no Alaskan National Party. So, your post is a pointlessly inflammatory comment followed by an incorrect assertion. Are you a labour supporter who was in the QT audience by any chance?
If you're going to snipe, at least try and get it right.
Did that give you a new parting when it went "whoosh" over your head? rolleyes
And sniping's not really my style. I far prefer to point out the hypocrisy and abject stupidity of peoples comments and leave the rest to them.
wink
Sorry dude, but your post was pointless and contributed nothing to general theme of the thread. You showed all the integrity of the QT audience. I won't bother responding to any more of your snipes - I have a life. lol lol lol lol
lol
Fair enough- but it was only pointless if you didn't get it

Typo Res- they're meant to say "mildly charred Rolops"
