A couple of friends from the fetish scene have announced they have gotten engaged :-)

Thanks for posting this thread Venus, I hink it's been useful for the guys to hear the perspective of the single woman as I'm sure most guys imagine that single women are being approached all the time and hesitant because of that. (if that makes sense!)

Approach me in that mask and i'm yours xx
I have many masks, does it have to be this one? :-)

Good thread and that rose pic is fabulous - it's inspiring me to pick up the camera again as not done much in ages. Need to replace the film slr body with a digi one though. Thinking of going for the Canon 40D as a lot of people I know, use that one and means I can use my existing lens'
(btw, is that a pubic hair on the rose? ;-))

I'd love to see this film but on a tight budget at the moment. Do you think it has to be seen on the big screen to be appreciated?

I think it would certainly add to the experience, just films like this almost demand they be seen on the big screen. I think this is going to be THE blockbuster of the summer.
However, I think you'll still love it on the tv screen but hope you needn't wait till then.
Saw it at in the imax ... absolutely fantastic, very dark in tone and my god, the ending ...
The Joker's explanation to the gangster of how he got the scars ... intense!

I really must start watching Heroes..... but I still miss DT!!! We won't know what is happening until christmas ... watch this space...

I wouldn't bother with series 2 ;-)

OK I've not read any of this cos I missed all the last DrWho's, they're repeating on BBC3 at the moment and I hope they're going to show the whole series again.
H.x

They usually do, more than once ... but you're in for a treat ... you probably shouldn't read this thread though ... "Spoilers" ... cool
I found Heroes series 2 to be rather boring, the twins were annoying ... anyhow, DW ... how come Rose couldn't stay in our universe because she'd been travelling with the Dr so had that 'energy' stuff around her, but Mickey could? He'd been travelling too after all ...
... Oh, another thing, Dr River Song for new assistant - she's in his future and the DT Dr's future at that ...

when we came back upstairs there was loads of stuff on there saying "why did u turn off, why u ignoring us, what is ur fu*king problem etc etc etc" and a text on the mobile saying "why ignore us just tell us ur not interested for f*c% sake!!
i text back to tell them what happened and they returned with ahost of expletives too blue for such a "family website" as SH lol
Then online we got the same thing Fing this an Fing that,........

I think you had a lucky break there ... sounds like they need therapy ...
Don't know if they're worse drivers but they sure can't park properly ... seem to need a clear space of two car lengths before they'll 'risk' parking and then they can't park straight evil Try parking in London and you'll soon learn to park in little over one car length ...
Completely amazing sometimes !!! cool
Never been on a swingers night but have been on fetish nights and the place is pretty big, lots of equipment and fair bit of play. They sell non-alchie drinks at a reasonable price and you can being your own booze. There's secure parking also. It's co-owned with the Old Hellfire Club.
Is kinda weird but relatively amusing to read ...
I should have thought that the start point for this kind of thing would be to have worked out a couple of possible locations first and THEN posted the suggestion - getting people is easy, the location is the hard part cool
Going from what size to what size? Reasons she wants to have one?
May help people give better advice?
cool

Oh and DarkJedi.......here you go lol

 It's a nice photo but think I've seen those before, the rubber/latex is too floppy and wouldn't be a very good fit ... I really am looking for EXACTLY as good as the movie ones ... cool
Smoking ban is long overdue for public places like restauants, bars etc ... remember how horrible it used to be on the top deck of a double decker bus?
Not a smoker and have never smoked, but am not over-zealous about it, don't over-react like some anti-smokers do if someone lights up next to them at a bus stop etc and think talking about banning people smoking outside buildings is, well, just plain stupid ... if you go that far, we should make tobacco illegal ... that won't happen obviously as the revenue is too 'tasty' ...
To be honest, as a woman you could probably go as you would be dressed for a swingers club - stockings, suspenders, corset ... that kind of thing ... nurses uniform etc etc ... people often think fetish means latex/pvc/leather but that's wrong ... you could think of it as fancy dress party.
Only thing that isn't acceptable is normal street clothes really.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Am off to Torture Garden tomorrow, it's their birthday ball.
Sorry to hear about your cat and I can completely sympathise ... I lost my cat, Anakin, suddenly mid-Feb and even though I'd not had him all that long, he was very much in my heart and even now, I still think about the things he used to do and miss him being around.
I'll get another cat soon though it's hard to imagine another cat being as good natured as Anakin was - he loved people and didn't run away like most cats do with strangers.
I had him cremated and his ashes are buried in the garden with a new plum tree on top.
Off topic but ... targaid ... your avatar ... looks Mandalorian ...
You veggies need to get a grip ... a bit of meat product will do ya good! wink

I think everyone that comes into this country to work and live should have to be able to speak our laungage...

I disagree with that as I don't think it should be a pre-requisite for coming here though I do think immigrant communities should make better efforts to integrate and learning English whilst here is a part of that - integration does NOT equate to the loss of ones national heritage.
"You're" only holding "yourself" and "your" families back by NOT integrating more.
Not entirely true...
If they dont integrate and cant speak the language they are provided with an interpriter(sp?) and then placed in a community where they can be with others of their background..
... so how is that integration? Placing them into communities where they can be with others of their background means there's no incentive to integrate and sounds like a ghetto to me - not a good thing at all ... Surely you must agree that being able to speak your host country's language is a benefit to yourself as it gives you more freedom to do things on your own without being reliant on your kids or other people?

... leaflets being printed in at least a dozen different languages no where else would this happen but here? ...

I think that's one of the great things about this country, the openness and generosity of it's people, but there is or should be equal openness etc from 'aliens' and in certain communities, there isn't and I have to ask, "Why are you here then?".
... Oh, before anyone thinks I'm being anti-alien ... I'm one myself albeit British born so I can see where things could be better and how they could become worse.

I find the standard of written and spoken English so poor amongt the kids of today - including my own up to a point I do despair of what the future ... Fact is we - or rather the politicians have created timebomb problems with the 'open door' policy

I have to agree with you there - I know language changes a bit with each generation, new slang, new terms etc, and that's natural progression but it does seem to me that the kids of today can't speak English!!!
I think it was a huge mistake NOT to place restrictions on allowing the latest tranch of new EU citizens on coming here to stay/work as it's a huge drain on the economy and welfare system and look what happened the last time. The 'open door' is fine if ALL the EU states are doing it, France & Germany in particular, but everyone else talks a good game about the EU free market, free movement ... but they're all got restrictions in place ... how stupid are we as a nation?

Hmmm, I don't know dunno ... seems kinda odd to me to be that bored when we don't get anything like enough bank holidays confused: I know the feeling about being single when everyone else seems to be coupled up but key is to have other interests in your life that keep you busy and doing things with friends etc cool
Goddamnit ... where do I change my sig?
redangel ... you should name and shame him ...
lilacgem ... great pic, I love Boris' art ... cool
Splendid ... gotta say, not all singles are asseholes ... though I ahve to agree, a fair few seem to be sad
Yeah, that 'members who may interest' you feature is pretty weird ... seems to be completely random and as such is next to useless ... personally I think it's a 365 day a year April Fools ... cool
