If you are hetro, and you go to a spa (ANY spa) midweek, you may want to ensure that you remain seated! lol

Could be, no one has any idea WHERE to go on a Tuesday. Have been to Paradise spa....will be full of guys and not much else on a week night.....same goes for just about anywhere....
You will be OK if you are bi or gay.....but dogging is about the only thing for midweek and that will be grim if you are hetro!

I had a nasty feeling that may be the case sad No idea on Our place for fun then ? - shame
Never really got into the whole dogging thing and being hetro sounds like it is just as well - Oh well maybe i will go to Paradise and take a book !!
Thanks for the reply anyway
Ok 37 views and no advice ! - ho humm
Is this because few of the forum readers have been ?
Is it because this is a post from a guy ?
Is it because no one cares :-(
Oh well i didnt expect ms right to to say 'come with me and we will have a great time' - but some ideas would have been greatfully recived !
Never mind
Wondered if any nice people on here could assist me with deciding where to go on a Tuesday night – Specifically 13th October.
I have pinned my plans down to either Paradise Spa (which I have been to before) or perhaps Our Place 4 fun (which I haven’t). So that quarter of london is where i am headed.
Both get good reviews (I guess from weekends) but I could do with some direct input ! (yes that too redface )
Paradise has sensible opening hours and is only £20
OP4F sounds like it has better facilities but opening from 10PM -3AM is somewhat mind blowing (do may people play at 2AM with work the next day?) – I wouldn’t be able to stay until then so knowing my luck I would be slinking off at 12 just when its getting warmed up – nothing more frustrating than that !
The ‘butterfly club as it is termed on a Tuesday sounds like fun (still £50!! certain people on the café forum would have something to say about this i am sure)
So really just looking for some ideas/preferences – hey I am not going to say no if someone wants to accompany me – I am realistic and just don’t expect anyone to.!
Appreciation in advance
Alan
Hi Joy
I think there is lots of good advice to be had on here.
I should be perfectly reasonable to meet up social first. I would suggest a lunch time – say your on lunch hour then there will be an easy end to the occasion if all is not what it seems. Lunchtime is less pressured than an evening drink – every reason to remain completely sober and then you will get to know the other person reasonably well. Clearly they could still be an axe murderer but hey !!
Having 2 older teenage daughters I have been horrified as to what can happen in pubs and clubs with various items added to drinks etc so I would always suggest avoiding those places for a first meeting.
I think the easiest first non social meeting should take place in a club – ok that may put off some people and I have no idea what the clubs are like around you. It does meant hat thre are lots of people around you who are there doing much the same and for whom there will be no embarrassment if things don’t go well. And three is always the added advantage that if there a crap shag and your unfulfilled then there will always be plenty of people around to choose to try for a better time.
I think the idea of a confident with whom you can text is a great one. I wonder if there are girls on this site who have seen it / done it all who would act in that capacity. – any volunteers ?
It is important to be relaxed otherwise the whole point will be wasted if your wondering about the person your with – they always say if you cant relax you cant enjoy and to me that defeats the object !
Anyways have fun
Alan
Cheers for another great night guys
Good to see so many people
Thanks
Alan
Late again.. redface

No, it seems that people do think that £30 it is alot of money for a guy to spend to get into a Swingers Club like Chameleons. etc....
We go to Chams as often as we can (every couple of months) and would happily pay double for the entertainment we feel that we get from a visit - in fact we do, cos we stay in one of their rooms!

I think its the differential people are moaning about. I think for an evening its not too much to pay - thats why i go ....
Now how do we engineer being there at the same time as you guys ... umm
Alan :-)

Just please dont be upset if i refuse or delete you as its all part of the testing lol

Nothing new to me there !!
Well i tried
here is my 2p's worth
Supermarkets sell at a loss to get people in - they are not trying to get people drunk there after making money (interesting point flower about the unhealthy stuff)
Cheap booze does not lead to drunkeness - trouble spots arnt near supermarkets there near clubs -
On the continent booze is very much cheaper (strength of the Euro excepted ) - they dont have the problem.
Our problem is a cultural one - we (like the americans) seem to be children when it comes to getting drunk.
Soul girl and geordiecpl have it exactly - if we are brought up understanding drinking responsably then the eventual adult is less prone to binge drinking (as per the continent)
As i recall when younger - (not that long ago i hasten to add ! ) you used to be able to have beer or wine with a meal in a pub at 16 - does that still apply?
should this be encouraged ?
Out of change so will shut up !
I cant go - but am due to be there on the 22nd November - so close yet so far.
Bugger :-(
Many of the large hotels in london do what is called a 'dayroom' These are normally cheaper then the overnight rates and generally run from 10 - 4 ish
I think they are designed for meetings or daytime siestas. From my experience there is no problem with these and the advantage is that you can check out early evening without any raised eyebrows of buggering off before the night !
Try phoning a few in the area you want and just ask for their day room rate - that should give you an indication if they do it. The only few i have tired are places like the charing cross thistle and the strand palace - these arnt particularly cheap though !
Have fun !!

Bumpity bump

Surley Bumpity bonk is more appropriate !
Surely the answer for most blokes who are after all by definition exceptionally shallow is....
We aint fussy !
Personally i like the one on the end of my tongue and fingers !
Clean and fresh is a given !- we aint that shallow.
To expand on the 'look' element ...
How about taste ?
There is great variety - most are umm but some are wow tastes fantastic

Just to apply some economics:
Take a quiet thursday for example :
Say 30 Guys @ 30 900
15 couples @20 300
5 ladies @ 5 25
Total take 1225
fair pricing - assuming couples are 1 person
1225/50 people £25 each
Take a busy friday :
75 guys @ 30 2,250
50 couples @ 20 1000
15 ladies @5 75
total 3,325
fair - 3,325/140 people £24 each
This is a small saving for the blokes same ish for the couples but a killer for the single girls. Would encourage single girls to accompany single guys - is that a good thing ?
So the Question arises - If clubs make pricing fair will people go ?
It would be interesting to see as we as a society become more equal sexually and ladies who like clubs are similar in number as guys then maybe prices will near equality - until then we are stuck i think.
anyway if it was much cheaper we would go more and it may be less exciting ....
just a thought

Just wondered what others thought about the current costing structure at clubs.
Now lets take my local and one of the most popular clubs in midlands Chameleons.
....... This is quite simple to overcomne, just restrict the numbers allowed on any one given night. If coming a distance you could even book yourself in..with reception, so as not at facilitate a long wasted journey.
Also lets not forget the guys have to pay double the membership fee as well.
I have heard a few couples recently complain about the lack of available single men, in clubs, maybe a fairer priceing structure may assist and be in the end for the good of all.

I think its a very simple case of - they can ! I do think that by using price there is a natural restriction on the numbers attending. This is simple capitalism – very unfair on those of limited means but I cannot see any way around the problem. (UB40 discount ? umm maybe not)
The idea of limiting single Guys sounds good in theory – but in practice it would be difficult. How many guys would ring and say I am coming (no pun intended) then not show up ? – would the club take a credit card payment first ? – and what if they were stuck on the M6 for a couple of hours- do they forfeit their place even if they make it. That is the economic argument but looking on the choice side – If 50 guys say they are coming and only 5 turn up – how is that choice – I have no ideas on the numbers so may be way out of line. From the review of clubs it actually seems that the places that try to restrict guys in number actually charge more.
So if the income from the single guys were reduced then one assumes that the couple/ single girls price would be raised – this may stop them going. Then if there are no couples / girls there the guys stop going etc… Then an empty club.
So if you can point me to the couples who say there was a lack of single men…….. :-)
I think its interesting that Chams is accepted as a great place – and I have been known to go. I think that perhaps its success is its pricing structure (and great facilities and staff of course ) but it’s the people that make a place.
Locally to me somewhere like Eurekas charges the same for guys as couples with single girls free – this also seems to work.
Other places seem to charge £50 for a guy plus masses for the membership – I think this is going way too far – not that I have been but is there even more pressure on the coupes/singles there as the blokes have paid so much ?
I guess its all a balance – if it goes wrong then the club will close.
Ok I have gabbled enough now – where my chams card…..

lol try somewhere else !! Rios isn't what it used to be

I have to agree with Choochie (although last time it was real fun:-) )
I suggest turning right when you hit the M25 and try Kestrals or turn left and try Eurekas
Depends on the nightmare traffic on the M25 really (does that make me shallow ??)
Alan
