Had one or two, but mostly they come to have their cocks pleasured...my most recent said his wife refused any sort of oral, so came to me for a good BJ (which he got!)....also enjoyed wanking me to completion, and played with my body. Bi/Gay/Straight?? Just enjoy the moment!.

This is an interesting point. I wonder whether the whole issue can be split into two categories?
1 people who can have sex with others of the same gender
2 people who can develop emotional attachment to others of the same gender
Perhaps in the first case it is just a sexual agreement. A moment in time for both people involved. So in this case one could be of any orientation.
However in the second case the involvement is potentially more complex, and so would require at least one of the participants to be gay, or bi-sexual.
Hope that make sense?? I was just writing this as it occurred to me.
I wish people would stop going on about HIV. The priority given to this particular disease is attributable to what was once a high fatality rate, and the fact it started to kill middle-class white men. Prior to this the disease went happily along killing other people of much less importance.
However there are many other diseases out there, many of which are many times more contagious than HIV, with varying degree of debilitation, some even still causing fatalities.
So being safe means being safe from all diseases not just HIV.

BBW lover.....it is indeed a little tongue in cheek. thing I'm getting at is, you don;t always have the chance to know the personality. If you in a club or something...you can't say, oh he looks like he has a nice personality....
in reality good friendly persoanlity does go a long way.... but no matter how nice that person, if they looked like a bag of frogs...would you..could you ?

Yes I would if I thought they had a nice enough personality. Sometimes you just get a feeling about someone even after 5 minutes. Long term friendships are based on that first few minutes, and besides everyone has their dark sides. If I like what I see and the impression I get from that person then … yes.

I dont think swinging is easy full stop.....for anyone.
weather you are a couple or a single fem/guy seeking couples, singles, bi's, bulls, hirsute, large, small, gay or whatever the criteria that floats yer boat,
we all have to make the effort to search or place an ad, then sift through replies (IF they get any)and match those replies to our idea of what will make the best meet for us, based on replies and profile views.
Then theres contacting them, maybe a few emails, a phone call/text, a social meet to check compatibility/suitability maybe, and then the play meet itself.
of course not everyones like this, some people do the anonymous shag and go to, but again it takes time and effort to find people and match them to what you are looking for.
A lot of people think swinging and swingers are just a load of randy people gagging for sex that will shag anyone with a pulse regardless, and if they join up they are guaranteed a gazillion and one emails of men and women queueing round the block to jump into the sack with them within the first week of placing their first joining ad.
Now if some guys had a cock made of chocolate that ejaculated vodka....maybe it might be easy for them!! :giggle:

You mean they should have a pulse!??
Now about that cock made of chocolate that ejaculated vodka … :rascal:

now theres good in everyone
and too sexual exclude someone on looks alone is a bit shallow

I agree with this. In fact this thread worries me slightly, although I suspect it's supposed to be tongue in cheek. However it seems to me that one person's "attractive" is another person's "ugly", but surely on a site like this it's the person inside that matters.
So for me if someone is "ugly " inside, i.e. in terms of personality, then they cease to be attractive. And if they're attractive inside then they are also attractive physically. Their physical attraction is part of their attractiveness as a person.
I don't have a problem with the tagging system per se, there are potential benefits, but it is absurd that other people should be able to tag your photos.

you can't expect new members to know that on page twelvemilion of the forum, there is a thread written by and for insiders, where it is explained what happens to the pics they upload in their profile.
these things should be clarified every step of the way, for videos and pictures alike..

I'll shut up in future then shall I?? confused :?
Some of the members that have been here more than 2 yrs know all this or should as its cropped up often enough!
Mmmm? That doesn't necessarily mean that people will remember, but with something that is so fundamental to the way the site works, and has such a significant affect on its members, should not be hidden in the bowels of an archive that belongs to a part of the site that only a small percentage uses.
Something as fundamental as this should have a prominent position on the site, so that whether you are old or new, you will have easy access to this crucial piece of information.
Frankly this whole episode has been very badly handled, and the rather sensible and logical opinions of the members has been ignored again. It is time that such changes as these are properly considered before being hastily implemented, and creating a pig's ear where a silk purse should have been.
I have experience in interface design, and the implementation of logical systems, and have been available to supply suggestions, and advice, but my well meaning attempts to offer help have largely been ignored. It seems this site is determined to lurch from one disaster to another without having learnt anything from previous experience.
It's a real shame because with a little extra thought most of the dissatisfaction could have been avoided.
Can straight men catch HIV? Yes.
What are you trying to imply? There are many STDs out there, many much more virulent than HIV. The main concern with HIV was the high fatality, now reduced through scientific progress, but as with any disease it makes no difference whether you are gay or straight, or anything else.
Weird question. dunno

I don't have any problems with the tagging per se.... but I still will not be putting my pictures back into the public domain till the facility for others to tag pictures is removed....
that give people the power to make decisions on my pics that I may not be happy with......
that is still my gripe with the entire fiasco....
only let people do there own....

Your tag of your own picture overrides any tag anyone else may try to put on it. It doesn't stop anyone else tagging your pics, but it's your tag that counts when the search system is launched and that is several months away.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for all your help Mal, but I'm still with Fabio on this. Other people should not have the ability to tag my pictures.
That is still wrong in my view.

I've spoken to Martin about this and there will be something announced tomorrow about it, which should alleviate some of the problems you were concerned about.
Hope that helps

Well done Mal and thanks for taking the subject further on our behalf.
Your earlier comment is totally in line with what most are saying, and I respect your sticking your neck out on this topic.

or perhaps give the power to those that authorise the pictures for the site anyway .. i know it would be hard work as i realise how many pictures the mods have to deal with in the first place but surly this would be some sort of compromise

A possible solution! But they were too lazy to consider this because it was too much like hard work.

The whole thing is a dreadful idea
We have been members for a while now and tbh we love the site; even when it was awkward and kranky (logouts, crashes n otha techy stuff) - we have watched it evolve and get better, and we really like many of the new recently installed features
BUT
THIS NEW IDEA IS A REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD ONE
For the first time we are genunely considering leaving to another site - and god knows theres plenty of them out there - but we have decided to give the SH Towers bosses a chance to change their collective minds - stop this idea - and reverse your decision to implement this change
We cannot speak for others but if it isnt done we'll be off

It's not just a bad idea and it is highly illogical. Sadly it also smacks of laziness. Too lazy to think it through because they were worried it would be too much work, and as a consequence missing a simple solution.
Give the power of tagging photographs to the owner of the photographs. How difficult is that to understand?????

Hi Nola
You can buy a dongle from 3, which is pay as you go. The dongle costs about £30, you then buy top ups as and when you need it.
I know this isn't what you're after but you might be interested to know that 3 also provide a special wireless router that allows you to put your dongle into. This then allows you to have a wireless network in your home, with a single dongle.
You might want to look here for more info:
There is another problem of course. If it is true that we are effectively being used to tag other people's photos, does this mean that the first person to see a particular pic is allowed to tag it? Or does each visitor to that particular pic have a chance to tag? Is it first come first served, or are the tags somehow assimilated into a single rationalised profile?
What happens if I tag someone as a BBW who doesn't see themselves as BBW? Or someone else is tagged as gay when they might be straight? How am I supposed to know whether a picture which contains two women are lesbian or not? Without knowing the context it is likely to cause hugh offense.

Oh, and as melting pot has said, now that people are moving their pics, or even deleting them, my perving opportunities have become less.

… and by default making the profiles a less useful tool for gauging possible meets.

I'm not particularily bothered about the whole thing, but it seems to me the admins should have anticipated such innovation, giving an announcement of some sort... or even polling for the opinion of the members.
as it is, the plan, however good the intentions, seems to have backfired (also severely hampering my chances to perve :taz: )
may I suggest that you give the members the chance to chose (a simple flag-unflag system should do) whether to let people rate their pics or not?

This is at the heart of the issue really. Talk to us tell us what to expect and why? As I've said many many times before, information is key. Tell people what's going on and not only does it give people warning but it also allows people to opt out if they so wish, and prevents any potential backlash.
Nobody likes to be dictated to.

The idea behind the system is so you can browse the photos that you want to.
The 1-10 scale isn't a rating, it's the quality of the image not the content. The data will be used to display the clearer better quality of images first, with the blurry ones at the back of the search query after we get the new search implemented.
The categories that the images are tagged into will be used to filter the images that you want to see e.g. if you are a couple looking for another couple, living 30 miles away, and not wanting to see cock shots, the new search will be able to meet that criteria. Currently the gallery has nil functionality or use for any thing other than looking at pictures, Russian Roulette style.
Currently there are nearly half a million photos that need to be categorised before any new relevant search can be implemented. We are actively encouraging users to tag their own photos that are uploaded and there will be an announcement on your homepage in the next few days.
Swinging Heaven is looking for ways to make all areas of the site more relevant and usable for the members. Our goal is continual improvement and listening to our member feedback. In the recent site surveys, a relevant image search was one of the top three points that our member base was asking for. As you are aware there are a large number of site improvements being worked on at the moment that will be rolled out over the next 18 months.

Still not sure this has been done in the proper way. Image quality is too subjective, what seems ok for one person may be considered dreadful for someone else.
Also what's the logic in getting other people to rate your pictures and decide which categories apply? I don't expect other people to choose my likes and dislikes. Surely this should be an option when uploading pictures allowing the owner of the photos, to think about the appropriate categories?

My photos have now (yet again!!!!!!!) been moved into my private gallery. When will Admin learn to *let the membership know* that they are going to give people options like this.
If I wanted people to rate me out of ten I'd go to a site that's designed for that purpose, like "hot or not"
mad :x :x :x :x

Couldn't agree with you more Angel. The number of times I've ranted about this precise issue and still nothing changes.
We're not lab rats we're people, please please please just tell us what 's going on.

On further investigation I've just removed all of my photos from my public album. No offense but I've no desire to have other people rate my pics on a 1-10 scale for "quality" or to decide which category they should be in.
rolleyes
*is very cross*

… and this is precisely what upsets me too. Was I told about this? Was I asked whether I thought it was a good idea. Do I have an opt out option? So now I'm on X-Factor am I? With people giving me marks out of 10?
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! This has really made my day. It's good to see some kids still have the old rebellious spirit in them.
Thanks for finding it Mrs B

you often see abuse handed out in the bbw room peeps think that cause we aren't ya perfect size 10 then we are fair game to abuse these are obviously knob heads that do not know anything of wat is considered to be a good swinging attitude of being non judgemental
if something is not your cup of tea then you just walk on by no need to be nasty to them there are plenty of peeps on here for them to be able to find thier perfect cuppa

Just ignore them hun. People like that don't appreciate a good woman when they see one.

I would be interested to know what kind of photographs you're looking for. Would you want erotic, sexy, arty, or stylistic for instance? Maybe looking for a portfolio of original ideas?
Helps to know in order to get the creative juices flowing.

you say shame on the magazine but what about her, i was reading a magazine the other day and as i was going thro it there was a picture of her looking very ill in bed at home with her kids sat at the side of her looking very sad......sorry but shame on her for allowing that pic to be taken and published, theres a fine line and allowing pics of your children crying at your dieing bedside is not only crossing that line its wiping your feet on it on your way over

couldn't agree more ok she wants to make money for thier future her choice yes but some dignity is called for i feel
What's worse is that while we sit here exchanging our various views on Miss Goody we forget that most magazines, despite their reputations and how we feel about them, do not normally publish without the express wish of the person involved.
So it turns out that Jade has given permission for all of these photos AND articles that have been published so far. And while the punters continue to lap it all up, she continues to have even more photos taken, and articles written, for the following day's issue.
Yes I sympathize for the situation she finds herself in, and I appreciate she's concerned about the future of her kids, but I can't help feeling that she's doing this because she can't stop herself. And I'm sorry to say I find that rather ugly.
Well done Serendipity! It needs women to speak out too, and don't let the men take all the flack. After all we all know that women rule in the swinging world.
So don't be invisible it's time to come out of the … shadows?
