As for the asian girl in the headscarf trying to get a job in a hairdressers, I reckon it was just a ploy for a claim, but that's the cynic in me.
However, the bus route I drive goes through an asian road thats full of asian hairdressers, and ive not seen a asian hairdresser wearing a headscarf.
So are we saying that in one way or another, we are all guity of judging a book by it's cover, because I know I am, i'll admit to that. TBH, I think we ALL do it, it's a human reaction.
If you took your car to the garage for a service, and the mechanics own car was a complete bucket, would you feel happy with him working on your car?
I'm sure most of us have seen the news coverage of this.
2 gay men minding thier buisseness in the middle of london and 3 absolute pieces of shit kick one of them to death.
The sentance? 7 years!! WTF is going on in this bloody country?
Something really needs to be done about the judges in this country, they seem to be totally out of touch and utterly incompodent at thier job.
The dead mans sister and partner were on the tv this morning, and my heart went out to them.
I wonder if it had been a hotel owned by muslim people if the case would have turned out different.......
I remember watching that programme, I believe the producer was an asain woman, and when she was asked why she did not include gang rapes by white men in the programme, her reply was that she could find no evidence of white men commiting gang .
She did however say that there was plenty of white men on thier own commiting .
I cannot ever remember a black male being convicted of being a , it seems to be a white, middle aged male crime.
Lets just say a 4 yr child has gone missing from my local area, there would be no point the police stoping a car full of young black males in it to search for the missing child, however, they would be justified in stopping me in my car, a white middle aged man on his own, I fit the overall profile of a child abducter.
If I did get stopped and the police explained why they had stopped me, I would not be offended or start screaming racism.
However, if someone in my local area was robbed by a group of black or white hoodies, there would be no point in stopping me in my car.
Back to the OP's original question, it does seem that the 'grooming' of white girls for sex does seem to be an asian problem.
Must admit, I'm slightly troubled by his sentance.
The sentence itself is right and proper, IMO, but, when you compare it to what the recent iraqi asylum seeker got when he ran over and killed that poor little girl, it seems harsh.
I feel the hand of the goverment in the sentancing, I reckon words were had in the judges ear.
Not seen a couple out in epping for ages, sadly.....
I reckon theres a good chance of the police being worried about taking action because of the racial element.
So are people saying it does'nt happen?
Always the same, whenever someones a suspect, they 'find' something wierd about them.
It's the same when a 'hoodie type' gets killed, the papers always say what a nice church going person they were, and then it comes out they were in a gang.
When it comes to the media, all we can do is read the papers/watch the mews/listen to the radio and make our own minds up.
Must admit though, he does seem a bit wierd!
Agree with all of that foxy, but........
How do we decide what is acceptable and what is not.
I am a member of a landrover forum and there is a 'anything goes' section and it can get very heated, however, if someone disagrees with what someone says, then they argue the point, not delete it.
Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't.
As the Op, I have this to say.
I have been contacted by a mod and told why my thread was removed. I don't agree with the thread being removed, however, I do understand that what I posted was quite harsh and maybe I could have worded it better.
However, I do feel that if someone posts something in appropriate, let the posters argue against it.
If a mod feels that my thread should be deleted, it would be nice to be told why.
1 rule for them, and 1 rule for us..........
Then theres this story;
Now, I don't for one moment believe that the grandmother will be deported, but the mere fact that she has gone through this hassle is not fair, IMO.
I also believe that the romainian will never be deported, but, how the hell did he manage to con so much out of the system!!ffs!
