Oddly enough I have a pic of your wellies! :giggle:

Those are hot wellies!
I love wellies, I have three pairs, red, purple and yellow!
cdangel - I got them from the t shirt shop on gloucester road if you want a pair lol
*Her*
I used to love it - it was a novelty. I'd never done it before *Him* came along. Now though it is a bit of a pain in the ass. Most times I can control it, sometimes I can't - usually those are the times when theres nothing to hand to lie on first! rolleyes Sometimes when I remember, I make the bed with a clean towel on top of the sheet lol Goodness knows what anyone would think if they looked under the duvet!

Just wondering....
I had a touch of cabin fever so went for a walk after tea and now am sat snuggled up alternating between popping on here and watching a dvd of The Wire Series 2. I've just made a cafetiere of coffee from The French Market in New Orleans (a very lovely pre-Christmas gift) and I'm all warm and toasty.
What's everyone else up to?

I appear to have found my posting boots  How many years have I been registered here and not bothered? lol.
Anyway, I digress. Tonight we are mostly doing nothing. For a change rolleyes I am on here drinking wine and posting with NCIS on in the background. *Him* is currently talking to his Mum on the phone (awwwww) lol

Mine have been a godsend the last few days. I'll have to take a pic and show you - they're fab! Only bought them for camping as we have a habit of going during tornados (I kid you not) lol but they've really come in handy the last few days.

And if you post the other pic, I WILL hunt you down and kill you

Yep - I've had this. With my best (female) friend. Before we were best friends and before I realised I could have been Bi of course. Of course I've been kicking myself for years since.....

What? dunno
In this weather your gorgeous little strappy things aren't going to see the light of day.
Lets hear it for wellies, snow boots, hiking boots. etc etc etc.

how he get in then heheh

You can laugh Mal but as I left for work this morning *Him* was asking if we had any of those. Don't think he has a clue what to do with one mind..... lol
*Her*
S'ok now the very nice AA man came and broke in lol.
Shame really, I was looking forward to another snow-ish day!
*Him*
Bastard Bastard Bastard.
Went out to the car this morning, opened it, stuck the keys in, started it. No problem so far.
Got out to check the wipers weren't frozen to the screen as there was a bit of ice on there last night. Shut the door to keep it warm inside and the fucking thing locked of it's own accord. With the only key in the ignition, with the engine on.
It could be up to 6 hours before the AA can get here as lets be fair, I'm warm and safe, not exactly a priority case!
So, anyone know how to steal a Ford Mondeo?
*Him*
We don't reply. Purely and simply because our profile states clearly that we are not looking for new people right now. So why would you contact us dunno What's not to get about that?
It may be rude, but unfortunately thats what you get when you PM someone who doesn't want PM'ing!
Unfortunately, reading some of your replies, it seems you're one of the few who can read a profile lol so the answer is, I dunno really :dunno: Maybe because there are so many of us not meeting at the moment (by the looks of this thread lol) the ones who are meeting are getting even more bombarded than the rest of us!

I think I'll get up now. :smug:

I got up earlyish, but didn't get dressed until about 30 minutes ago, after a nice soak in a hot bubbly bath.
Smug bastards! The pair of you! mad
:giggle:
Hehehe - I got up at 1pm and only just dressed.
In fairness, I was awake at watching the snow and couldn't get back to sleep again lol

well i'm hoping that 2010 will be a damn sight better than this bloody year that is for sure!
don't get me wrong, i'm sure it can get much worse. but seriously i could do with some better luck.
whips

You and me both sister :therethere:
I think everyone will be glad to see the back of 2009 to be fair.
It's been a tough year in my line of work and I see the worst still to come. Will I still have a job this time next year? Possibly not, but we have other oprtions in the pipeline, things we would never have considered before. We have a way to pay off all our debts and save enough money for a deposit on a house whilst I give up work. It just involves moving to another country surprised
Watch this space! Heres hoping 2010 is better for all of us!
*Her*
Erm... we're a couple and we're fun. Oh and we're in the UK natch.
Easy!
*Him*
I met the right person at the wrong time. I was living with an ex at the end of a rather messy relationship, but still with him non the less.
I'm now married to that right person, nearly 9 years after we first met and we're about to spend our first Christmas together as a Mr & Mrs biggrin

Had some snow here last night, which is still here tonight, enjoyed the traffic chaos this morning, hope for more of the same tomorrow!

Lol Angel - stupid isn't it. None of the roads were gritted either. Is more forecast this way tomorrow then? (hopeful)
*Her*
We had some last night!!! Yayyyy. It's still settled now and more is forecast for tonight. Yippeee.

i like fizz, on of the best is sainsburys cheapest medium dry cava. but i do like the ££££££££££ stuff alot too. it just depends on how dry you want it. i have 3 bottles of cava at the mo, one bought, one given and one won.
whips

Best of all it's on offer at the moment for about £6. It's not too bad either.
I like fizz. I've drunk enough of it this year what with the hen do & wedding. I have to say I'm partial to Moet. Unless it's on offer tho it's a bit pricey. The pink (my fave) coming in at about £40-£45

I want one of these!

Hehehe is it a Snap on? wink
*Her*
Nope - still no snow here either  Bright sunshine! Tis bloody cold tho...
*Her*
No it's not. It's not snowing at all. Not even a single flake. I think you're making it up!
*Her*
Incorrect grammar. I'm not perfect, far from it, but incorrect grammar really riles me.
*Her*
Not silly traditions no. There has to be snackage in the house, usually from about now till New Year. Nuts, crisps, chocolates, mince pies, shortbread and the like.
Christmas morning we wake up early (OK, I wake up early lol ) force *Him* out of bed then we usually breakfast on smoked salmon either with bagels and cream cheese or with scrambled egg on toast, washed down with a glass of bubbly.
Then I'll start getting the bird in the oven and a few other bits ready to cook, usually whilst drinking a Baileys or two wink (mind it's still not usually 10am yet  )
Then we'll open presents (not many this year, just one or two - recession don't you know) then sit and watch crap telly and eat heroes/celebrations.
Dinner is huge with the usual turkey, sprouts (even though no one likes sprouts lol) pigs in blankets, yorkshires (with every roast - i'm northern!), roasties, parmesan roasted parsnips a la saint Delia, stuffing, broccoli and maybe caulli cheese. No pudding - we're too stuffed and still have the one we bought 3 years ago in the cupboard  The rest of the day is then devoted to eating more rolleyes drinking more and watching rubbish telly till we go to bed.
Only difference this year is i'm NOT cooking for 8!!!!! It'll be our very first Christmas alone together and we're really looking forward to it. And I have 10 whole days off for the first time ever. I'm SO excited lol.
*Her*
Never mind blood boil - that doesn't even come close. This government are the biggest joke we've ever had the misfortune to elect (well done labour voters lol) They've literally bought us to our knees.
Bring back Maggie - she would never have stood for this.
We may be having to look at moving because the recession has hit us - hard. Despite me paying 40% of my salary into the system for a couple of years until recently, will we get any help at all? Will we hell. No sir. MY money is going to lazy layabouts who have never paid in a penny themselves. They might as well line up outside our offices on payday and we hand them the money ourselves. Makes me sick.
