Today wasn't so bad. Yesterday was worse.
Either way, when there's frost on the car I get in, start the engine, hit 2 lovely little buttons and sit there as the car warms up and the screens deice automatically.
I knew there was a reason to buy a Mundane-o. Fords kick ass with the little things lol.
*Him*
Erm. Has no one else looked at that and thought actually, as a woman, I wouldn't want arms that masculine?
No?
Just me?

I do most (read all) of the cooking in our house lol
I do a mean chilli, roast, heidi pie, curry, chinese and loads more that I can't think of right now.
Today however, I have eaten a yoghurt and some oven chips as *Him* is eating out for his Christmas do with work. It's no fun cooking for one, but goes a long way to explaining why I was a skinny runt when I first met *Him*

Guess its as our sig says either that or we just stink. Not that we have had a huge amount of time to go looking though

You're not- I know other young (very lovely, but sadly very quiet of late) swingers in Bristol. :waves:
Sounds like theres a fair few of us then wave I *think* we can just be classed as young (ish) lol.
Not sure I even remember how we found this place tbh. It's something i'd discussed with my ex, then discussed with *Him* and I think google was our friend. We joined, went to our first munch the next weekend and the rest as they say is history!

then no doubt be chicken inspired dishes for rest of week until it runs out!

Mmmmmmmmm.......rubber chicken lol. We have lots of that in this house

Roast Lamb with all the trimmings here tonight. We'll be eating lamb forever since we came home from the shop with a whole one yesterday. Have you SEEN how much meat is on a whole lamb? Still, it was an absolute bargain at £60 and we love lamb (good job really eh?) lol
*Her*
I'm sure I read somewhere in the past (in some believable and alsmosts medical worthy source) that most men dress to the left. Not sure whether it's got anything to do with your "handedness" though.
To add my tuppence worth - Right handed, left cocked.
*Him*
Happy Birthday hunny, hope you had a lovely day passionkiss from *Her* & manly handshakes from *Him*

I love the word "moist" it has such wonderful connotations smile

One of my faves too. As is Flange. Which is great as I get to say it quite a lot being an engineer. w00t!

Oh, and spatula and mahogany.

I bought a lifetime bag from Somerfield. I've got them from all the supermarkets but Somerfield's effort is by far the best... by miles in fact! It's a black nylon carrier, fits loads and squishes up to fold into itself and hides away in my handbag without taking up a load of space!
Just thought I'd share! biggrin

And you have the cheek to call me a geek!
*Him*
Roast beef (rare - yum!) yorkshire pudding, roasties and some veg (not sure what yet!)
All leftover and frozen from last weekend when I cooked double so no real cooking for me again tonight biggrin

Ok, I know it's not dinner, but it is kinda almost teat-time. Right now I'm snacking on some Turkey leek and potato soup cooked in the... slow-cooker!
Home-cooked sausage n egg muffins for breakfast too. I'm being spoiled today!
*Him*

wink
Morning Freud!

The slow cooker is having a night off tonight lol (only because i'm not getting on very well with it, although it does have turkey, leek & potato soup cooking away in there at the moment for lunches next week)
Anyway, I digress. Tonight we are having - pizza & chips. I'm having a night off. *Him* has turned the oven on and cooked them
*Her*
Turkey for us as usual. *Him* would prefer a goose or something equally posh but I am a real traditional girl and my christmas has to be the same every year. I LOVE christmas. :bounce:
Turkey, roasties, yorkshire pudding (i'm northern, we eat it with every roast) stuffing, carrots cooked in butter with onions & garlic and probably broccoli too. No pudding here but there MUST be at least 2 tins of chocolates opened along with nuts and biscuits so thats snackage sorted.
Last year I cooked for 8 which was interesting. This year it's just the 2 of us having our first christmas alone as newlyweds biggrin
Every year we get a turkey WAY too big so will be eating it for at least 2 months following lol. Good job we like it.

Our company bash was cancelled last year, but we still went out and had a team thing in a local pub. Dinner and skittles (the game, not the sweets!) was rather cool actually.
This year (after MUCH hard work from everyone in the company) we're having the company thing again and the team thing. Really looking forward to it as, despite the current financial situation, we've done rather well.
Bring it on!
*Him*
(And yes I'd pay a small fee, but there are 2000 of us to look after lol)

Slow cooked chicken and leek stroganoff with mashed spud.
Ferkin lush it was too.
*Him*

Anyone would think you'd bought a new slow cooker at the weekend
lol
Might have done! Had slow cooked beef n ale stew last night and I'm pretty sure we're having slow cooked Madras this weekend too. I was sure it'd make cooking easier, but it doesn't. Just makes it take longer!

Oooh, we just had roast beef - and bloody tasty it was too. That wife I married just a few months back is feckin good in the kitchen. She's a good cook too ;)

Anyone mind if I chip in with my tuppence worth?
I'm not a fan of the iphone generally for a few reasons.
It's too poncey.
It's part of this whole irritating "i" thing and that REALLY winds me up.
It's WAY too expensive.
You have to deal with iTunes - which is a right pain in the arse.
I could go on...
Sadly though, they actually work very well (if you ignore the silly quirks like tethering, copy n pasting and MMS)
Blackberries to me seem like half the deal. They're great for business users, but seriously - who wants a massive keyboard at the bottom of the phone ALL the time?
I'm a HUGE fan of HTC phones and could talk you into the grave about them, but I would seriously suggest you look at the HD2 (on O2 and various others in about a weeks time) or for an Andriod experience, look at the Magic (or G2 as it's also known).
It really depends what you're going to be using it for, but the HD2 has the crispest, clearest highest resolution screen out there - and it's fookin big too. Beautiful for catching up on streaming TV and movies...
Just my thoughts though. I'll be getting the HD2 when my contract runs out in Jan. Oh, and dont forget to make the providers fight for your custom. Play them off against each other with a little white lie here n there and you'll be surprised what you can get for free.

I used to be very much into FPS when my PC was capable of handling it all - Quake, Q2 Q3A, Unreal etc, but the march of time and technology left me in it's wake.
I'd love a PS3, but I'd have to rig up a keyboard and mouse as there's no way I can use a sixaxis to strafe.
I wonder if Mr Claus will be nice to me this year!
*Him*
Surely it's just a little processor with a GPS receiver attached - in essence?
I know for sure it's possible to hack things about to get different operating systems and software where they weren't originally supposed to be. (I'm running a hacked windows ROM on my phone for instance)
The best way is to look for a satnav forum and post on there. The only reason you might not be able to run TomTom is a lack of processing power or storage space, but I doubt that will be an issue.
*Him*
I honestly can't remember the last time I did!!! redface I used to - lots lol Can't quite remember when I stopped and I hadn't realised I had till I read this lol.
Sorry, not contributing much am I?

Welcome back you guys! And congratualtions!!! We don't live quite so close anymore lol but not so far away so if ya fancy a catch up anytime - just let us know. (and I promise only to monopolise the new addition for a short time  )
*Her*

A catch up would be great biggrin its been far to long. We should actually be out tomorrow night (Friday) as long as the sitters dont let us down. We shouldn't be a million miles from your last known location, heading that way anyway.
Feel free to monopolize as long as you can catch him :D

I think I know where you mean, but PM us - I don't think we have anything on tomorrow. If we can get out, we'd love to catch up.

Mr Hopper is pretty good, especially when he's done by Jo Burt...

*Him*
Apologies for the size issues - I'll sort that later if I have time, but you get the idea...
May I suggest invoking the Standard International Drinking Rules before starting any games in particular. (Google it!)
It makes it all soooo much more fun biggrin
*Him*
Either way - just so long as you don't use fabric conditioner when you wash 'em - if you do, they don't dry you properly, and frankly, for a towel, thats just shit.
