reasuring in some ways, because I've had the same experiences. I've been on this and a couple of other sites for about 10 days. I must have emailed about 40 contacts, but had only 3 replies (not a bad average compared to some of the posts here)
I'll keep trying, but you do start to wonder "is there some sort of 'funny' e-handshake you have to know about"
