That's the answer really. finding an option or alternative so that you don't waste your own time; if you get let down.
Look for something else in the area you can go onto, rather than getting left on your own.
I found that you can't access everything, and it looks like its 20 years old on some phones. but you have to keep trying until you see it working. also it will work quite slowly.
the thing to do is buy an unlocked phone. it may well come with a sim and a top up fee. you also have to pay that. so you can easily use that just making a few calls.
but go to tmobile and buy a pay as you go sim. then the offer will come through on that payg sim. you have until august 31 to register. that gets youo 6 months internet usage for free.
don't register your phone or you will get locked and stuck with one service and possibly a tariff.
the only problem of keeping ahead of the deals is in having to regulalry change your number.
On a more serious note. If i lose my bifocals, I will then have to pay for the 2 for one deal all over again. And this is not so good really.
So you can see why I am a bit pissed off. Its just not reasonable to expect consumers to pay out like this.
i was using an Alcatel OT-800 unlocked which cost £50. and T mobile give you 6 months free internet usage with their sim. any calls are pay as you go.
i could get ino SH forums and a lot of other sites with it for 'free'.
just get your friends to join up and email each other rather than text and that's all free.
not a bad way round expensive mobile costs.
i thouoght I would put this whole home commercial sex thing under scrutiny last night.
So i turned down the lights put on some cheesy music, laid a few nibbles about the place. In between doing SH and viewing porn etc. so I more or less hasd the atmosphere in place already.
Then I had a lovely wank.
i must say there was a significant difference. which i would price at about 13p at the most.
now i do have some complaints actually, and i have spent the night considering them. but its a private matter and subject to discretion.
so i know how you all feel about this.
and you won't care about what it is. you'll buy things because the odds are good.
so one week you will buy lots of toothpaste and eat that.
in effect what you will see is shopping by odds.
2 for 1 is 50/50 odds. a low basic 'bet'. odds of 0.5
higher odds will come in with offers like 9 for the price of 4, odds of
so one day you might decide to buy 56 packets of digestives because the odds are favourable. ie , which is 27 to 56. because you might normally buy a whole box of packets.
then shopping will become a wonderful new thing for us.
yeah you can see some bargains when they come up in the here and now. but some months later when you are bewildered by more and more of these offers you won't really have a ready reckoner in your head anymore. then the trickery and profiteering will come in.
and there will already be a science employed in this.
there's always someone suitably enlightened enough to come along and put an end to a decent conversation.
he'd get knicked very quick if it was anything near to running a brothel. the two things are quite different.
Aslo there's characters in the forum who absolutley have to make a point, and will go to any lengths to do so.
as atom says its a place to discuss things, not to hold people to ransom by your viewpoint.
I think there's quite a few professional arguers.
One day they will adopt a viewpoint. the next it's the other viewpoint, because they can argue either. that's all.
To be fair a lot of other things start off as home based businesses. eg Ann Summers. more so in the USA and the continent. But obviously the idea of discovering a filled durex behind the sofa on a regular basis, has its implications.
But what is important is perhaps seeing how well these home based gigs are being developed. in view of the 'commercial' advertising in the forum.
But I think its time to branch out. open up an S+M cortege. Then you can send all these whingers over to them to get a good thrashing, if they have something to complain about.
i don't drink anymore. after the initial buzz it gets boring for me.
a body sweating out booze is also not exactly pleasant for me either.
but with booze it could get a bit down or aggressive, and you can't be sure how it will go if too much is drunk.
In some cases the extra thing you buy may be useful but in some cases its not essential to have it. probably with glasses it usually is worthwhile having an extra pair. But it should not be the case that you have to buy two if you only need one.
But the point is, it is not free. It is a falsehood to believe that it is. It costs something to produce it and its cost is recouped in inventing a deceitful pricing scheme.
Now these offers create a misleading evaluation of what's in the marketplace. if you don't really know what something costs, you have less ability to make an informned choice. generally you will part with more money than you should do.
yes i know for smaller items it seems like a bargain but when it comes to something a bit more expensive, its uneccesary cost.
I think this has now gotten out of hand. What once seemed 'generous' and irresistible has now become the tool for profiteering.
everything costs something to produce, so its never 'free'. and we are paying for that by these offers.
in my case i had to buy and extra pair of glasses along with the bifocals i had planned to buy. maybe i could have shopped about but i was getting eyestrain and needed something quick. and my usual supplier had introduced this kind of pricing offer, whereas before you could buy individual glasses.
i mean you don't have to buy 2 cars or 2 houses? so why us this knd of thing beginning to get about the marketplace? it seems we are being made to purchase extra items that in some cases are unwelcome and not needed.
we are addicted to this site.
I mean could you at this moment walk away and never look at it again?

Yeah I think he's got something spiky strapped to his cock. A bit like that murdering monk in The Da Vinci Code.
Bound to mess up his swing at the tee off.

that website has some extreme stuff man. thanks :-)
fancy a bit of that then Brucie?

we hear about sex addition, mainly involving celebrities.
but what do they actually have to do to become unaddicted?
pills? injections? psychiatric treatment? slapping their bollocks with a nettle?
things happen in life and many have happened on this site where no vote was taken.
eg shrep was given consultation on its principles. but what it is, was not actually voted for.
so not only do we have its functionality we also have its policy wihtout any vote being given.

There has been so little activity in "Current Affiars" this weekend dunno

Is it any wonder Blue?
But it could b for other reasons? :dunno:
When it gets to the point where people cannot..........No I won't bother Blue.
Rarely do I bother. Mainly as I dont have time to read posts the size of short novels or read the posts of those who are wanna be politicians. There is only one good reason to read the current affairs forum and that is it make the rest of the site look friendly lol
Yes the threads can be long  I tend to pop in on a regular basis to keep on top of them.
Not sure about the wanna-be politicians but do enjoy reading and entering a good debate with the other friendly contributors wink
Like I said to Duncan in a thread the other day I have ideas. By ideas I mean say legalize drugs or legalize prostitution. Now besides that and my limited knowledge on a subject I'll allow politicians to show me a policy on how that should be done and if I like it I'll vote on it. I notice though many folk in the current affairs forum seem to spool off huge lists of how stuff could be done or how it could be done better backed up by endless amounts of information and links, policy's basically. Therefore wanna be politicians in my eyes.
Reckon I could copy and paste some peoples thread history and make a manifesto :haha:
If you have ideas tweeks don't keep them wrapped up inside your head.
as for legalising things. well if we were invaded by aliens who took over the world I am sure humnans would find a way of legalising their visit.
its probably due for a new controversial type of member. someone who will put his foot right in it and get everyone back to having a common enemy again. someone thick skinned enough not to recognise their utter folly at having a go and who soldiers on hopelessly against all odds. hmmmmmmmmmm.............
