I can't believe the shorts are painted on, they look so real
I know Jim Kerr is still involved in the music scene as a friend of mine who runs a record label had him in the studio some time ago. Although the end product wasn't very good (allegedly).
My brain has given up the ghost also. Have heard the answer but don't think I can explain it again !
There is a post called 'There is Hope' by DaHamsta in The Cafe forum. Read that....it has some sound advice and has been received well by the more experienced members of the site.
Hi Calista,
I've read your previous posts and am passing my good wishes to you all. I'll say a little prayer and truly hope that the treatment goes well.
Your note today is a very nice touch and whilst it doesn't change the situation, it is nice to read a post thanking everyone in what must be a difficult time for you and Morbius. As a new person to the site, it is amazing to read the level of support illustrated in threads.
At a time like this you get to know your true friends and I hope all the support you have received through this site helps comforting you, Morbius and Caz.
My thoughts are with you.

Marleena Shaw: Anthology - a great album
Excellent post and great advice !
Definitely, that's why I still haven't done one !!
Try and point out actual acheivements that you have made in your previous job, i.e. 'Sold x% more than target" which demonstrates what you actually did rather than the mundane lines that a great number of people include stating how they wer responsible for x and managing y people.
At the end of the day, the person reading the CV's will only speed read it and if they are not captivated straight away then you'll end up in the 'no' pile. Believe me, I've had to screen CV's ! If you can make your's stand out within the first half of the page then your quids in - maybe !
Remember - sell yourself ! What was taken for granted in your old job may be appreciated in another organisation.
There are a few books available that can help. My advice would be to check them out in your local bookstore to see which one suits first rather than buy online - unless you know what book you want.
Best of luck and if you need help with words or how to phrase something then let me know and I'll see if I can help
A great video and a pretty catchy tune. Apparently there is a late night version of the video but I'm not sure if that's just rumours as I haven't seen it.
Sean Connery will always be regarded as the best Bond ever and he's the one that everyone has to live up to.
Personally I think Pierce Brosnan has played the part well in the last few films. Be interesting to see who will be the next one....or should we throw that open as a new thread ?
