Okay, came up with some answers but if you ask me another day I'll probably say something different:
Fav 3 tracks:
1. California Soul - Marleena Shaw
2. Some day we'll all be free - Donny Hatthaway
3. By the river - Groove Armada
Album:
Anthology
Film:
Black Hawk Down / Gregory's Girl (can't decide!)
Person to be stuck on the moon with:
Cameron Diaz
Great thread, I'm off to give my brain a rest!! blink
This is a difficult one. Think I've got my 3 songs and film but too many contenders for album and who I liked to come with me to the moon ! My brain's hurting........ confused
I know Jim Kerr is still involved in the music scene as a friend of mine who runs a record label had him in the studio some time ago. Although the end product wasn't very good (allegedly).
Richard and judy are on the tv (not watching it honest redface ) and have given me an idea for a post.
Which band would you like to see reformed from your youth ?
Personally, I was always a fan of Swing Out Sister and wouldn't mind hearing them again - just for the song 'Breakout'.
Does anyone else have any favourites from the past ?

My brain has given up the ghost also. Have heard the answer but don't think I can explain it again !
There is a post called 'There is Hope' by DaHamsta in The Cafe forum. Read that....it has some sound advice and has been received well by the more experienced members of the site.

Hi Calista,
I've read your previous posts and am passing my good wishes to you all. I'll say a little prayer and truly hope that the treatment goes well.
Your note today is a very nice touch and whilst it doesn't change the situation, it is nice to read a post thanking everyone in what must be a difficult time for you and Morbius. As a new person to the site, it is amazing to read the level of support illustrated in threads.
At a time like this you get to know your true friends and I hope all the support you have received through this site helps comforting you, Morbius and Caz.
My thoughts are with you.

One thing about southerners is that they do seem to have a better tan as you get more sun...!
smile

This is just so unfair - I've met lots of lovely Glasgow Girls who are a delightful shade of Orange  Sundbed Capital of the World I should think we are.
Yeah, were they also wearing gold rings, a chain with the name 'chelsea-louise' and had their shell suit bottoms tucked into their socks..........? Or is that just the part of Glasgow where I'm from ??
:welcome: from me.
Still finding my feet a bit myself but I can tell you it's very addictive.
Have fun
wave wink
Being from Scotland I'd say that the girls are lovely and sexy, outgoing and up for a good laugh. However, having just spent the last 4 weeks in Worthing I can honestly say that the women are lovely and sexy down there.

But, I enjoy the North smile :)
I personaly have found this site to be very useful: it has some articles on how to write a CV... as well as a build your own CV thing that asks you questions to help you build a ]
Just had a look at that site EnglishChris99 and one I'll keep for future references !
biggrin
biggrin I'd love to attend.
Glasgow is preference as I wont have to venture very far but Edinburgh is not a problem if that is the majority.
:thrilled:
Definitely, that's why I still haven't done one !!
Try and point out actual acheivements that you have made in your previous job, i.e. 'Sold x% more than target" which demonstrates what you actually did rather than the mundane lines that a great number of people include stating how they wer responsible for x and managing y people.
At the end of the day, the person reading the CV's will only speed read it and if they are not captivated straight away then you'll end up in the 'no' pile. Believe me, I've had to screen CV's ! If you can make your's stand out within the first half of the page then your quids in - maybe !
Remember - sell yourself ! What was taken for granted in your old job may be appreciated in another organisation.
There are a few books available that can help. My advice would be to check them out in your local bookstore to see which one suits first rather than buy online - unless you know what book you want.
Best of luck and if you need help with words or how to phrase something then let me know and I'll see if I can help

But enough with the guys - what about the Bond girls? Diana Rigg has to be up there towards Number 1 spot, but Honor Blackman was pretty neat as well. Jane Seymour was very nifty too!
Oh, decisions decisions!

Straight away, I'd say Ursula for her bikini moment but I though Jane Seymour was a fine tarot reader. If only she could have done the lottery shows instead of Mystic Meg...lol!
A great video and a pretty catchy tune. Apparently there is a late night version of the video but I'm not sure if that's just rumours as I haven't seen it.
Sean Connery will always be regarded as the best Bond ever and he's the one that everyone has to live up to.
Personally I think Pierce Brosnan has played the part well in the last few films. Be interesting to see who will be the next one....or should we throw that open as a new thread ?
