Its not just about dogging .... its about single guys ... the same thing has happened to us in clubs only there they can be removed!!
well then.... if it is about ettiquette... trust me i have seen as many couples removed from clubs as I have single guys....
And i have as many couples in clubs like total idiots as i have single guys... and even single women...

I can only talk about the club that I go to, in that the friday and saturday nights tend to be geared towards different people......
I go on the saturday night to mind as that the night i feel more comfortable.....
the only "old school" munch we have like that now is wigan, and thats the reason why I don't miss them...
I would organise one again, for me organising them was like organising a do for friends, so the payment bit was the least of my worries and I know that people would cover any costs I had.......
maybe i would, the biggest worry for me would be if anyone outside of our region would turn up... i use to remember people from yorkshire and the north west would come up, people from scotland would come down..... and it would be a proper mix....
I have always said that If I was ever fortunate to win the lottery I would do a big one.. it the middle of the country.... book 100 rooms in a hotel... and give them to anyone coming more than 50 miles away.... to encourage people from outside the region to come and get a mix
the problem is kenty like jts said is that it is already means tested...
at the moment, If you have assets of more than 23k then you don't state sponsored long term residential care payed for, which is were the selling of properties to pay for care cames from
so this was a tory proposal to counter people having to sell there homes to fund this...
I don't say I agree or disagree this, I got my house because the family I bought this from thru the estate agents had to do this....
kenty... it is going to have to be addressed at some point with the population getting older and older.... so what would you suggest? if you are going to scrap means testing, then what are you going to cut to fund this? all well and good suggesting one thing, but you don't say how you are going to pay for the outlay?
the generic chatrooms are not an issue for me..... when those socials are organised because they involve people from all over the country, people go from all over, so thank for the the as an example BBW socials........
for example.. i'll give you another example that frustrates me... 5th december.. munch in wigan, so then someone organises another event in coventry.....
now i would love to support events all over the country... Two on the same day that would not have happened, not everyone would have been able to go to both, but you have put a lot of people in a position where they have to choose.....
that doesn't help the "regionalisation" of the site.....so people from the north west go to one.... people from the mids room go to the other, they don't mix and a brilliant chance for new people to meet new people has been lost.....
I wish organisors would liase with each other, rather than being blinkered to there own socials, thats what use to happen...people use to space them out, and you had a semi calender... now that doesn't exist anymore....and that great thing the site had has been lost

I think I have been one of the more vocal people in this subject so promise not to bore you all anymore... but I think the Regional Chatrooms in effect killed the big munches....
very few people from there own regional chatrooms travel outside of them anymore....
people from the mids room don't go to north west, people from yorks room don't go to the north east.... people from north east room don't go to scotland....
and the list goes on and on... the site has become more and more and more insular...
for example... halloween night 31st october... event in leeds and an event in nottingham - distance between leeds and notts is 60 miles ish..
people would have clubbed together and got a minibus in the past... or would have come up as a group, but now its one group at one party and one at anyone and everyone else in the middle picks sides...
back in the past, there was also an unwritten rule where people wouldn't organise events on the same weekends... so that people could go to events all over the place... doesn't happen anymore
it is an interesting topic especially with what is being proposed in scotland at the moment with minimum pricing.....
they are proposing a 40p-50p per unit charge on alcohol.. and in effect doesn't really change the price
remember those are the minimum, unless scotland is radically cheaper than anywhere else I don't see a problem, and if it then leads to less alcohol related probles for hospitals then I would be fully behind it..
