I started reading this for a very different reason. When you said she went bald - I was thinking it was like when people go bald and the hair falls out by itself!!! DOH - sorry! I just wondered how it had happened thats all - but obviously it hadn't so I shall now leave this thread alone
I did read the profile (as I am sure Fecklebird did too) - but it doesn't explain why there are still only cock shots - or did I miss something here rolleyes I know you say you wont have a face pic - but you have lots more to show other than a face and a cock - dont you?
Some of you will know that I recently walked the Inca Trail in Peru to Macchu Picchu - which was a brilliant and amazing experience.
Anyway, while hiking up the mountains (which took hours and hours ....and a few days) I did lots of thinking. Once the trek was over I sort of felt that if I can achieve the trek then I really can achieve anything I want to  So.......my aims were to learn to swim and gain confidence in the water which I have a fear of. The other one was to learn to ride a bicycle!! Yes, yes I know!! For those of you who can ride a bike you are wondering how on earth someone cant ride one. Well I am 46 and never been able to ride one. It may have something to do with the fact that as kids we never had bikes .....aawwwwwww ..and then later on ...well it just never really happened.
Well, I have now begun my swimming and doing brilliantly in fact!! At our last lesson we did backstroke  ..and the instructor gave each person (except me) tips on what to do better with their stroke, legs etc. She never made any comments to me so my first thought was "OK - I am just beyond help so she can't even be bothered to tell me what I need to improve on" (negative I know). SO... on leaving the lesson I went to her to ask how can I improve. She said to me " Well... your stroke was more or less perfect! so all I need to say is practice and try to go faster" I nearly fell over!
Next was a bike riding lesson! That was yesterday - and I was riding without any assistance within 25 minuts!! I was well pleased. I was riding away with a huge grin on my face - I never knew riding a bike could feel so good. In fact I nearly cried as I really never thought I would ever be able to ride one. I need to practice starting off on my own though but am sure I will manage that.
Last night, my 18 year old son said to me "you know Mum I am so proud of you doing things you were scared of." He even said that he told his mates about what I was doing and how proud he is of me. He knows my fear from water comes from when his dad (my ex I have to add) tried to drown me once during one of his violent moods!! Last night my son also said " Remember Mum, that when you go under the water you are in control and no-one else. You dont have anyone holding you down and anytime you want to take your head out of the water you can" OMG - was I nearly in tears or what!!
OK - so I am conquering (and doing very well biggrin ) two of my lifelong fears!!! I feel on top of the world now. I really think it was about having faith in myself.
Has anyone ever overcome fears - and did it feel good for you too wink
I have a middle name - then later on being a good catholic innocent I was confirmed so was then given yet another name! My middle name is Bernadette (hence my nickname Bernie) and my confirmation name is Marguerita. I have five sisters and we all had middle names then later on confirmation names - I can just about remember their first names
I will have a think about a middle name for you Corrie and get back to you wink
Glad you had a good weekend biggrin

Hi
I live very close to the South Bank and there's loads of bars and restaurants round there - plus you are by the river and have the London Eye, the Oxo Tower and its a nice walk along to the Globe Theatre and then to Tower Bridge - if you want to walk that is! (not far) where there are loads more bars etc on the way. On a nice evening its a lovely pub crawl........I mean walk rolleyes
Gabriels Wharf is on the South Bank - theres a good couple of places there.
Archduke Charles Wine Bar - on Concert Hall Approach (near London Eye) is also very nice and has good food.
I love a restaurant called Ev - which is just behind Southwark Tube station (jubilee line), but they also have another restaurant just near the Globe Theatre which is called Tas - great food and brillant value. Ev is lovely as its off the main road and they have made it all mediteranian looking outside. Its well worth going there - plus they have a really nice bar area too. Its built under some railway arches and the inside decor is great.
You also have covent garden - good for bars, foos and of course outside entertainment.
Thats all I can think of just now confused
Have fun whatever you do
biggrin
Well said HLB - I couldn't agree more. Like you, I was initially on the site as a single female but didn't really bother with ads as I usually got cock pics - even though I made it clear that I didnt want those shots, or like you one liners saying that I could have the best night of my life if I met them!!
Anyway - after being stood up by 2 or 3 people from ad replies, I decided not to bother with one on one meets and went to socials instead biggrin
aaawwww Bassmans kids are here this weekend or we could have popped down. Have fun - and see you soon maybe biggrin
Anais - have got you added to the list now biggrin ................and you too Robert  Just get a pair of leather, PVC or even combat trousers and come along - I am sure you will enjoy it wink
Bassman is saying you can also have fantasy wear - so get your fantasy wear out if you dare cool and we will see you there
OR - as we say, just come along for social drinks beforehand lol
Well done you 2 biggrin
8 out of 10 for your project - only so you organise another one and try to get 10 out of 10 haha
I started the night in the usual way saying to Bassman " We are not having a late night cos we have to be up at 7am tomorrow"! blah blah blah. So instead of a late night - we sort of had an early morning!!! getting home at 4am or some silly time redface Anyway - it was a great night so thanks for organising this. For everyone else, I know I rabbit on and on when I have had a glass of wine (or 2) so aplogise if I bent anyones ear too much

Is there some punnishment for people that dont turn up on two occasions I am asking just in case anyone fails to make it without good reason.

Well.................I could think up some punishments evil BUT, if there are people from the site who often put their names down for socials and then often dont turn up (without saying to organiser they are not coming) then I just think those people wont get invites.
What people need to remember is that the organisers put a lot of effort into organising these meetings - and often have to have reserve lists. We understand that things happen and on occasions people cant make it to the night out. It would be good if they could text or ring the organiser to let them know - at least then someone from the reserve list can be invited. I know that sometimes its not possible to contact the organiser as other things in life do take precedence. However to give an example - at my last social night 24 single guys (malnly newbies who I was giving a chance to come along to a social) didnt turn up. Out of this 24, only 4 contacted me to say they couldnt make it.
Basically - if you cant make it to the social let Robert or ETFCboy know biggrin You dont need letters from your mum's - just a simple text saying you cant make it now will suffice. No reasons are needed - unless you want to say why of course (thats your choice)
OK - Sorry Robert for going on and on redface but I am finished now and will see you all on 24th
Shireen - you got me all excited then cos I thought you were applying biggrin :D
Anyway - I will have a good time. I'll have a large one (or two) and think of you
lol

Hi all
Myself and Bassman are meeting up with a very sexy male friend of ours on Thursday 15 June (evening) in central London. We will go for a few drinks somewhere, then we will be going off to his hotel for a bit of a chat biggrin or maybe more wink
Anyway - if there is a female or a couple who would like to join us for some drinks that evening please contact me by PM.
i still love your avatar, hijack over, go about your business
OOhhhh I got all excited then  - I thought someone had some info on Bristol Clubs.
Thanks though
biggrin
Myself and Bassman are probably having a weekend in Bristol around the last weekend in July and wondered if anyone knew of any good swinging clubs there. We have read the info on a couple of them that are listed on the Clubs and Parties page here, but wondered if anyone had been to either and if either would be recommened.
