Yeah, i've had that happen a few times.
Kids acting the hard man, because they know 99 ouit of 100 people won't retaliate. I'd love to be there when the loony #100 is there though! smile

Problem is, i'm not a big guy (5 foot 9-ish), and a lot of these kids are bigger than me. I dunno what i'd do if they caught me in a bad mood though. I know they're just kids, but if they're gonna ACT like men... (not that i'd expect this kinda stuff from an adult, mind you...)
Thing is, they never do it when they're on their own. If i did retaliate (thinking he was old enough to smack) would i have witnesses to say he started it?
It's firework time again, as well. Glad i live in a far better area than i did 2 years ago. It was a nightmare.
Jesus, i hate most kids. I hate their parents more though. Guess i could follow him home and start a fight with his dad. :)

It's all in jest, and YES, it does get tiring, but if someone's so unimaginative, or has so little chat that they have to start relying on stereotypes, do you really want to talk to them? Or if that's their mentality, take the piss back. It's not the end of the world. If it annoys you so much, you're too up tight, or your life's so cushy that being called a tight jock is considered a calamity.

Calls to landlines only cost me 1p for as long as i want, so i'm not gonna grumble. Good for lazy sods who can't be arsed moving to get the phone though :)

There's 3 easy steps to getting shot of popups for good.
1 - install mozilla firefox, and ditch Internet explorer.
2 - do a full scan with an up-to-date AVG antivirus or similar.
3 - do a full scan with spybot seek and destroy, and get it to patch all the security holes it can.
Assuming your windows is kept up to date with security patches, you should be fine.

I'm noticing more and more misplaced ads. Usually men in the wrong place. I KNOW the most of them will be there intentionally so they get more views, but how about having a simple bit of javascript saying "You are about to place an ad in the "women looking for men" section. This means you are a woman. Do you want to proceed?" or something similar. Should be easy enough i reckon.
Also, how about being able to *search* all of the "women looking for..." sections at once, instead of going into each? maybe adding new options to the listbox in the search place?
