Hi...
Have you tried connecting camera to pc or putting card in a card reader?? DO not format the card !!!. Pics will be lost....When a card is first used in a digi cam it normally needs foramtting b4 you use it....I would go for the card reader method...but if your cam can access the pics and show them then it should be able to export them....keep me posted Gary xxx

Hi not sure if this will help but.....in your options on msn you have a privacy tab....in there is the allow and block list.....it lists all the folks you have allowed and all the folks you have blocked (obviously

....Sorry to hear you are havin problems...worked ok for me on my old laptop...the problem is that updates like that are designed to work with every program, driver and device that people use so lots get missed and conflicts occur....in your case bad ones...lookin on the net lots of folks are havin probs also...will have a read and get back to you....Gary ....

Ok first of all are you running firefox?? if not why not?? .....secondly try shutting down all non essential progs and uninstalling any you dont use any more....am guessing this is some kind of conflict....but I could be wrong I often am :)....is it time to restore your pc to its original settings??.... a good cure but always a last resort....as all the backing up takes ages....still thinking as I write this :)....to be continued lol ....wouldnt do any harm to ask the sh site experts as well :)

.....Ok first thing I would do is put a cleanin cd thru it...just to rule out a dirty lens.....secondly does the drive show up in "my computer"?? and does it spin up when you put a disc in it??...new laptop drives are relatively cheap depending on the age and model of machine....they are only held in by one screw normally and that is under the keyboard....it could be that the drive has simply died....or that the lens is out of cal which normally means the same end result....fingers crossed its just a mucky lens....

Here’s a nifty little tweak that I came across the other day on From Windows 2k onwards you have been able to copy the text in error messages to the Windows Clipboard by pressing Ctrl + C, but Microsoft forgot to tell anyone. So the next time you get an indecipherable error message, just press Ctrl + C then open Notepad, WordPad, Word etc and press Ctrl + V, then you can highlight the text, and use it to search for a solution.

You are right the best way to keep your drive safe is to pull the IDE or SATA lead. There are all sorts of ways to access files on other drives.......Also your favourites and any photos or vids are not safe.....Depends how determined she is :)....Get them on a memory stick......export your favourites so you can restore them when she is gone....

Well said peanut exactly the right answer....just use firefox instead ....Vista is not that bad....stuff is in differant places and things work differantly but fundamentally its the same just with a differant look and more options....XP with service pack 3 is fine to tho so dont go rushing to buy vista if you dont really need to....

Ok here's a new tip.....one that I have already used several times myself.....having deleted my recycle bin several times in vista.....here's the easy way to get it back .......
1) Right click the Vista Desktop
2) Click on Personalize
3) Select: 'Change desktop icons'
4) At the Desktop Icon Settings, place a tick next to: 'Recycle Bin'.

...Ok.....for ZZZInternet ExplorerZZZ.....goto to control panel and look in internet options under the advanced tab....in firefox just goto options....I know i keep harpin on about firefox but this could solve your probs to....try it its free :)....
