Having said that, there was an article in the paper the other day about how much tax you pay on your cars in a lifetime. Can't remember the figures, but there is the car tax, petrol tax, tax you pay when you buy a new car. VAT on all the labour and part costs when it breaks down etc. All in all a lot of tax!
