I asked for an invite, and i got one, so i knew about it, So i went and i enjoyed it. If something had cropped up and i couldnt have made it then i would have picked up the phone and called Helen to explain why. It would only take 2 mins at most and its common decency to do so!
Next time you ask for an invite, just give a little thought for the person you are going to let down, again!

Ive always maintained the theory that however long you chat on sites you dont actually get to know the person till you actually meet them. Maybe thats just me being to careful which i guess isnt a bad thing. I also agree there is an element of excitement in meeting a total stranger for the first time. Fortunately and probably more luck than judgement, everyone i have met off the internet from all walks of life and in different circumstances have all turned out to be fantastic people biggrin
