Not quite following, I was not organizing a meet. I was merely informing and asking for a response to a particular problem at a particular site.
In this case not naming the site would have been totally non productive.
Also if you are worried about publishing the site, as a dogging location, well have a look in Dogging Sites just to the left, every popular site in the UK is named most of them with directions.
I think it is fair to say that after scoops in the News of the Screw and also local press the site I mentioned is probably the most famous dogging site in the world (possibly with the exception of Stan Collymores fav spot)
I totally agree that when organizing a meet, not naming the specific site is very sensible. However when bringing peoples attention to possible problems, page 10 of a previous thread is not the place.
Before my message was moved, more than 70 people had viewed it, if one of those 70 had been planning to go to "the site" and did not as a result of seeing my post, and thus saved himself a ticking off from the police, then I think it is better placed in the main forum.
Someone just browsing for activity is not going to venture onto page 10 of a previous post.
Any reason why my post regarding police activity at Scam Dam has been moved to the Warnings topic?
It was not a warning as such, more a request for further info.
I am not sure people are going to see my post 10 pages into a previous topic.
Second time I have seen it and possibly the second time it has seen me. Anybody out there had any feed back from the boys in blue, ie letter in the post or even worse knock on the door.
Or do you think it is a scare tactic to clear the site.
