A while ago, myself and a "friend" decided that outdoor activities were the way forward, and decided to try anywhere and everywhere, getting more and more daring.
We decided a certain hill with a tower on it in the Manchester area needed to be conquered, and it duly was ( a few times)
Anyway, the view is not normally all that spectacular (not bad, but not great).... but we had been there so long, we decided to sit and watch the sun rise over the valley and towns (inc Manchester);
On this occasion, the view was spectacular - and stays with me. Need to see that again!
