This has caused a lot of heartache and upset to a lot of members and I do not beleive it has yet run its course.
I was up till 6 am in a private chat room with a couple of peeps involved last night and we were given the opportunity to confront the person concerned with the allegations.
What came out of it was the allegations were edited and taken out of context, I suppose just like the mods threat to me that i would be banned if I ran my social with banned members whether or not I had the post deleted.
The person accused has said he will drop out with no hard feelings, I've said no (not at the moment), he has been told that if he causes any trouble he will be asked to leave and he respects that. But there again that rule applies to everyone!!!!!!!!
As has been said, everyone has to choice whether or not to come, nobody has complained, in fact the support is overwhelming kiss

My social can go ahead, in no small way due to the trust, respect and support of the people in here. Again community spirit prevails as it did after last weekend's incident.
I'm going to enjoy my party and those that are coming, I hope you enjoy it too. After all the hassles over the last month or so we need to let our hair down and just be the swingers and friends we are.

On another matter, my question re naming and shaming has not been answered thou' why wishmaster is named has, he allegidly made threats, I WAS abused and the guy is still out there and some peeps dont know who he is! still one rule for one etc.
blonde in answer to your post, I have no problem with the pm you sent and really appreciated the trust you gave me. Unfortunately that was abused when you had that conversation with a friend of mine, slighting me, saying that you had given me information you clearly hadnt, and telling people that I had blabbed that info AND that is why the pm's and chat logs have been recorded in their entirety so no mistake can be made about who said what and to whom. Hopefully from our conversation last night this has been sorted. And i did say that I would put this in the forum this morning so others do not think that I am slighting you in open forum.

I recieved a pm from a mod asking to post that non sh members were attending, after discussion and submitting my revision for approval I was given the green light. Anyone that has asked for details of non members banned and otherwise have been given them with full consent of the non members.
I have played by everyone of the rules asked of me but the goal posts have been moved again........fair I think not.
Yes a mod has given me permission to keep posting till monday....thankyou........but that really isnt the point.
Why am I being used as a scapegoat for all the politics going on?
Also I would like an answer to the post I made earlier, again it seems that there is one rule for one and another for others?

Can you tell me why then if Wishmaster has made threats but the guy on saturday actually carried physical/sexual abuse against me, why I can't name him on open forum as you have done with wishmaster in the interests of protecting site members that may have him on msn or such like?

As the Munch organiser, I have always felt that I had an duty of care to the members who were coming and this is why we restricted the invites only to people who had joined the site before 1st September, or those who had joined after that date but had become regulars. The person concerend did fit into this category and in his pm, quoted another Munch he had attended. If I had known on the night that his behaviour was like this, I would have asked him to leave, but I was not made aware that he had actually abused you (I understood that he had been making suggestive comments) I did try to find the bloke to ask him to leave, but was told he had already left the venue.
I dont know what else I can say, apart from offering my apologies for this. Kaz, I am very, very sorry. I was going to put another post on today about an idea I had for a theme for another munch, but after this, I really dont feel that I can trust my own judgement anymore.
Please look afteryourself, you are wonderful person, who has helped so many people on here, I truly hope that things are going to be alright for you.

OMG NWC please please dont in anyway blame yourself. It was in no way your fault. We have to trust ourselves and give members the benefit of the doubt. If that trust is abused then 'punishment' comes hard and swift.
Unfortunately in all walks of life people are trusted and they abuse that trust, you see it on the news and in the papers all the time.
I spoke to you that night after the fact because other people dealt with it. One thing that came out of previous threads is: if anyone has any problem that they cant deal with get help and inform the organisor or their helpers. This happened, you HAD security in place, you did everything humanly possible.
I will ring you tomorrow to reassure you that in NO way do I think either yourselves or your helpers were in anyway at fault, nor could you have done anything to stop it.
Roll on the next wigan munch, if it is humanly possible WE WILL be there and any help you need will once again be offered. NO ONE is going to stop me being who I am or enjoying myself with my friends, if nothing else the last couple of days have shown me this community is absolutely fantastic

sorry forgot to say and this is going to leave a really bad taste in my mouth to say it, but it needs to be said evil

People saw the incident take place, people responded and as such I feel totally justified in posting about it.
But, it is his story against mine and of such he hasn't been convicted of any crime therefore naming him publicly is finding him guilty without letting him have his say.
As for naming and shaming I don't want to hold a 'kangaroo court', after all it would come down to my word against his, I reitterate his details are known to other sites, his IP address is banned and as action has been taken I feel that everything that can be done, has been.
The mods and ops have re-assured me about the action taken and I am passing that re-assurance on to you

The community stuck by me on Saturday night and judging by the posts and pm's you are supporting me again. There isn't words to describe the appreciation that myself and SirLee feel to you all except

I hope newer or less confident members feel reassured that although this wasn't a 'pleasant' experience that this was an isolated incident and whether or not the people that attended the party knew me or not, every last one of them will be there to do their dambdest to stop this kind of thing happening. If it does they are there to put a stop to it.
Some of you either on here or by pm have said that no male should ever do that to a woman, it could have just as easily of being a woman doing the 'abuse' and that is equally wrong.
A lot of you have brought up the 'naming and shaming' policy and I an understand where you are coming from. Can I just reassure you that the other 'free' sites have been informed and action has/is being taken.
Unfortunately unless someone can give an ip address to other sites there is no way of knowing whether or not or not the person is registered under a differant name. There's no way for you to know who they are either, unless you know the person concerned
Sgt has said there is a no 'naming and shaming' policy on this site and he will know from the other mods that it was never my intention to do that, but thanks Sgt for re-iterating it.
Of course I have the usual questions going through my head "did I encourage it", "did the fact I was sexily dressed say to him, this woman is asking for it", "did I give out the wrong signals by my behaviour". "I'm a swinger at a party, am I saying that I am fair game"? I equally know that the answer to these questions whether I was male or female is a resounding NO. No means no whatever the circumstances. It doesnt stop you worrying about it and feeling guilty.

Angel as you said unfortunately it can lead to people taking sides and I thought long and hard and took advice from close friends before I posted publically.
If anyone is friends with the guy, no problem and I personally am not going to fall out with them over it.
The action taken against him wasnt just taken on heresay from me and certainly i wouldnt expect anyone just to accept my side of the story.
As phire as said, he will step in and help if needed and the point of the post is to show others that that the community and friends will support and help stop this kind of thing happening.

As some of you are probably aware I was 'sexually abused' last night. (I have posted separately from the thanks thread as not to put a dampener on it)
The guy concerned made unwelcome advances on two occasions, and politely told no and pushed away, and a good friend helped me out of the situation. The third occasion was out and out abuse and a few friends (and I'm sorry I don't know who you all were as it happened so fast) circled me and separated the guy concerned from me.
I'd like to say a big thanks to those people involved and thank you for not making a scene. A big thank you to my hubby for trusting me enough and not putting the guy in hospital (that is my job!!!).
The mods have been informed and appropriate action has been taken.
The reason I'm posting this, is because I'm a very confident person and I dealt with it (with help smile

), but less confident people or newer members may feel intimidated and end up with issues if this happened to them.
These incidents happen very rarely and if they do, there is plenty of support for the person concerned and action will be taken against the offending person. Therefore I throw this open for regular trusted members to reassure the newer and less confident peeps that support is out there.
At the moment I'm flucking mad

and hopefully that is the only after effects I will feel.
Thank you to you all, for a wonderful night and making sure that one bad apple didn't spoil the whole night for me. passionkiss
