As with everything - I'll give a very hearty disclaimer on this - but at the end of the day it's been used increasingly, and you really have nothing to loose
If the Registered keeper is not the driver, he should complete, sign and return the NIP naming the driver. Then, when the named driver subsequently receives their NIP, they may wish to use the following procedure.
However, if the Registered Keeper was driving at the time of the alleged offence, there is nothing preventing them from completing a similar witness statement.
It is advisable to write on the blank and uncompleted NIP/S172 notice only the following words: “Please see the attached†- then attach it to the following statement and return them both via Special Delivery.

I know a lot of people choose not to fill out their profiles or have ads as they don't wish to be contacted by random people and that's fine.
But if somebody is actively looking to meet people it certainly helps to give as much information about yourself and what you're looking for.

I'm a single guy, who has been a member of the site for a few years now, and i've never really had much of a profile, or ad. I've come to realise that personally - ad's and profiles have never worked for me. I'm very much a social person, and enjoy forums more. Sad as it might sound to say, but i like to get to know people in a social environment, have some fun and chat, and hopefully something more ongoing develops. If it doesn't - i still have made some excellent friends - no losses, and no dis-appointments.
Also - as it's very much a buyers market where single males are concerned - i'm just not going to give myself all that stress, frustration, and downright desperation, that some of my "colleagues" seem to be so capable of doing for me.
However - if you are actively seeking something, and then whinge and bitch when nothing happens, and it's because you are relying on an ad you don't have - then thats just stupid!

I know I Haven't posted on the forum in Oh such a long time - but it's nice to be able to break cover on such a nice thread.
I'm sure i'm re-hashing a lot of what has already been said - but last nights munch was THE most enjoyable, and fun munch i've been to in a long, long time. Perfect venue, perfect mix, and level of people, and for the first time - I actually came away having talked to tons of new faces and names - that rarely happens these days.
So minxy - as i told you last night, and again this morning - Top work - you can safely say you have well and truly busted your munch organising cherry - and some!!! It was great to be able to actually chat this time, as opposed to the snatched conversation we had last time!
When are you getting mr minx to start posting - i reckon now he's come face to face with some of the nutters you chat to he'll fit right in!
Thanks also goes to the Essex Mafia ( tatty, and mr and mrs tigersgobounce) for being my travel mates and roomies - we're getting a bit good at this now aren't we?
So many other names and faces spring to mind - and i just know i'd forget someone - so i'll instead say thanks to all!

I know this will get locked - and that maybe the search button is supposed to be my friend - but have we actually been given any reason why the chatroom keeps dis-connecting us. i notice steve redirected everyone to a thread about this - but the link doesn't work, and searching is proving fruitless.
i've tried clearing my cache, refreshing pages, checking firewalls, hopping up and down on one leg with the other trouser leg rolled up, and none of them seem to work.
are the days of proper tech support gone, or have the site owners, in a rush, decided to implement a system they don't fully understand yet?

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Vix - The site has sadly become in-undated with One handed typists ( i think that is the most politically correct phrase to use) and the major reason why the Core users have taken a huge step back. This site has become less and less about swinging, The community has become fragmented, and theres just far too many dick head single blokes giving us a bad name. Apart from that - everythings fine and dandy lol

In all honesty - A lot of what i see happening here now, I sadly remember predicting in my now deleted post when the takeover was announced ( and don't worry Mods - You are having a Hell of a tough time already, dealing with this s*i*e - I have no intention of reposting it
I find I am, becoming more and more frustrated/ annoyed/ pissed off, each time i try to carry out the simplest of functions i once took for granted ( adding emoticons for instance). The ads are 97% un-usable now as i am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to instantly deciphering the geographical locations ( i know - i should have paid more attention at school)
I've heard the phrase " if it ain't broke - don't fix it" used so many times in this and other threads and kinda agreed. However i'm sad to say I'm switching camps - It's broken, knackered - Fix it please!
how long is the postcode issue going to drag on? In my niave mind there is a simple solution - remove it - we didn't need it before, we don't need it now - other sites seem to do very well with geographical searches, and without having a postcode plastered all over the ad. Perhaps a bit more thought with the application could have saved so much greif!
