This kind of thing only serves to fit you into a box which someone else has identified as being the available boxes. What if the person designing the IQ test hadn't thought of a box which might have suited me better. What if his interpretation of a psychological state of mind is not actually how another perceives that state? What if his intelligence is being limited by his academic achievements, which might just be a regurgitation of someone elses expressions.
Ultimately the way i see it, is that no-one really knows anyone else. The only person we can ever hope to know is ourself. The cool bit about learning about yourself, is that to sometimes see ourselves, we have to experience and interact with other people, then go home and work out what it is we have found, seen, felt, experienced etc.
Not entirely sure where i would fit in to the above equation, there again, i'm just me, so couldn't give a shit where i fit. I am a spoilsport! :twisted:

After much humming and hawing and great deliberation (well, sheer lack of it hence the jeans ), what a fantastic night.
It was great to see everyone again, and to meet a few new faces, who i might have actually met before, but had been too pissed to remember!

I agree with you entirely, but wonder if perhaps it goes a bit deeper than this. The programme was giving the overview of what actually happened to Frankie on her journey. The fact that she had previously self harmed etc suggests that she has done some thinking. At the end up, i saw her as being a woman who was much more able to accept who she was, and why.
An experience is an experience. Being able to take the "bad" experience and actually learn from it, allows our perception of the "bad" experience, to then become a good expereince because of what was learned as opposed to how you learned it.
She went into it with an open mind, and fortunatley for her, she remained open minded throughout the entire experience allowing her to reach the finishing conclusions without any regrets of any kind. It also brings in what the perception of "vulnerability" actually is. Who defines it etc?

No - because ultimately you are making a choice. Being "free sexually" is an all encompassing terminology, it doesn't mean that you either have to swing, or not swing, be in a monogomous relationship, or not. You are free to make any decisions about your own sexuality.
This site pretty much has a policy that showing respect and tollerance for other people, are really the only requirements for being a member. I don't see anywhere anything about having to have a certain kind of lifestyle to fulfill that criteria.
You are two lovely individuals, and i for one would be disappointed if we didn't occasionally bump into one another at munches, social events etc. I enjoy your posts on the forum, your sense of humour (i am of course referring to WBB here :twisted: ), and your intellect. An event, ran by a member of SH ensuring the ethos of SH under its umbrella. The rules which we have in place on SH, are designed to encompass a tollerance of others, and respect. My understanding of the rules are, that as an SH event, no-one should be disallowed from an event becuase of there sexuality. Hence, single guys get to come in there droves :giggle: The munch is a non-playing social gathering event. If you want to call it a munch, get it stickied, you go by the rules of SH.
Its a place where i go to meet up with the people i blether with in the chatroom or in pm. A safe place where there will be NO playing, it is a social gathering.
Its a place where i met people, who have now become friends. I went to my first munch absolutely terrified about what might, or might not happen. I wrote and posted about it. I went along with only the assurances of the very people who i was meeting up with.
I acted upon what they said, i trusted them to be honest with me about what sort/king of event i would be attending. If there had been suggestion of groping, fumbling, shagging, anything that was in my face, i wouldn't have went. I wouldn't have considered attending. If i had gone to my first munch and seen something, then i wouldn't have come back to the site.
What might be the problem? The rules themselves. The rules, as i see it, haven't evolved. The site has grown in numbers drastically. If munches are to be held under the SH banner, then the SH banner must be big enough to take on the munch.
The munch IS the people who attend it. There isn't any point in putting down more rules and boundaries for everybody to follow. The people who follow the rules, aren't the people with the issue. The issue is with the people who fall outwith the rules. I personally don't have an issue with anybody who falls outwith the rules, so long as it does not impose itself on me. I also see no need to clarify further or justify this statement, as i hold myself within the realms of "free sexuality", nor would i wish to cause any additional issues.
