Some of us have joked with Steve (me included) about this challenge and we have all seen that he was up for a laugh. However , I have to say that I am somewhat in sympathy with Stephanie and her concerns. Some of the less informed will say "How will anyone know that it is a guy dressed as a TV?" as opposed to the usual guy who is a Tranny. Believe me this is different to " a guy who is a TV " Its all about how a Tranny holds himself / herself when out and about en femme. Its about posture, the walk, the head held in a certain position and about being able to give a sweet smile in return to the nice boys who whistle at a Tranny in The Village and say "great legs honey" confidence and the authority to be who you are. When a new Tranny takes those first steps beyond the sanctuary of the hotel door or when he/she leaves the car to walk down Canal St. dressed is something that remains with you forever. Its the Tyranny's "Baptism of Fire" and it scares the crap out of you no matter who or what you are. You will perspire like a racehorse even if it is 5% below, you will shake like a Tesco trolley on cobbles and your sphincter will take on a mind of its own. I have seen many get 50yards and the proverbial bottle goes and they bolt like Rem Rum at the start of a race. Gibbering wrecks in a trembling mess is a regular occurrence.
There are a few ways to "Pass" in the village, some pass as a girl ( rare) some pass as a good looking Tranny ( quite a few ) , some just pass as Tranny's ( loads ) The key is they are all Tranny's. believe me you can spot a guy in drag taking the piss 20 yards away and it can go badly wrong.
You have to really want it to do it in a place like that because its a place where it means something to a lot of people. Its where a Tranny gets her wings and it sure as sugar isn't an easy thing to do. We all remember our first time out. So Stephanie honey, if you don't want to do it then we will understand, its fine. We realise with you it was just a laugh so don't feel you have to explain anything.
As you say you have already been to The Village several times with SH members, me included and enjoyed it for what it is, a great night out, so heres to the next time on a SH social in The Village.
Afterall none of us here have to do anything we feel uncomfortable about. It was just a giggle.![]()

Oh yes, I'm aware of that, & for those who choose to believe, good luck to them. Its the poor & uneducated of the world who, because of the society in to which they are born, have no other option but to believe in Catholic doctrine. Because of the Catholic doctrine, they are much more likely to suffer from AIDS, or live in a country that suffers from a rapidly expanding population.

It wasn`t so much a point than a question, which you answered. Conscience seems to come in to this quite a bit, in fact even more so than morality, since you are the only one who would be aware of the deceit. So I go back to my first response.
As for whether it is immoral if you don`t get caught, the immorality exists before you get caught (says I, but this is possibly another `cat in a box debate), it`s just a matter of whether you get away with it or not. I can think of a great many things we wouldn`t do, even if we could get away with it, are there any reasons why this should be any different?

Why is something called underhanded? If it doesn't hurt anyone, can it by definition be underhanded or "morally wrong"?
In that case, I'd imagine you could go for it. It depends on how bad you might feel afterwards, but often I've hesitated over things, and created reasons not to do something when I should have really gone for it..you don't want to fall into that trap either..

The fact that you started a thread about it suggests to me that you are too aware of the personal moral implications, and stand a good chance of beating yourself up afterward. My advice would be `not`.:
