I'm rather embarrassed to admit that I don't carry a donor card, although I've always supported the notion of organ donation. I've also wondered whether it would make more sense for there to be an 'opt out' option rather than an 'opt in'? In the meantime I shall hang my head in shame.
redface redface redface

No need to hang your head in shame kiss. You can register online if you really want to be on the register.
I've not managed to get into CSI I do however watch Law and Order SVU religiosly (sp).

I dont carry a card and I wont donate - totally selfish and prob illogical reasons but my choice (not relgious).
But equally I wouldnt accept an organ transplant either.

Mr lyns mum totally refuses to donate hers as she says shes going out with what she came in with confused , seems illogical to me!.
I'm glad tho that you mentioned that you wouldn't recieve a donated organ as I kinda think if your not willing to give its wrong to accept!.

Its not that I dont want to donate its that my organs are useless to anyone else...
Smoker.....Drinker......Heart has been repaired with little bits of scaffolding (stents) and I have had Hepititus(sp) innoculations so cant even give blood..

My dad is the same has always given blood but due to a medical condition that the docs can't get to the bottom of he can no longer give blood or donate his organs.

Of course.
I think it should be an 'opt out' policy rather than an opt in- would save an awful lot of distress for families of those who died but haven't agreed consent.
It is one of those topics where I cannot understand why anyone could not wish to donate theirs after death, so I'll be interested to see why people might not want to.
Maz x

Totally agree with you, I think if you don't want to donate your organs for whatever reason then you should have to opt out.
I also think that its a little selfish to not want to donate your organs, after all, your not going to need them anymore.

I think it's interesting that it is illegal to text or use a mobile phone without a hands-free deivice, and yet I haven't heard of a single person who has been caught, fined, or prosecuted.
What logic is being used therefore when a man sitting in a stationary van, on his own, smoking a cigarette, is immediately arrested and fined?
mad

A frien of mine on the phone to me redface got caught and recieved a £60 fine and 3 penalty points on her license!. It does happen.
Myself and mr lyns were having a little chat last night and somehow the topic came round to organ donation.
I carry a donor card and have told mr lyns and my parents that if my organs are donatable (is that ever a word??) I want them to be donated, after all i'll no longer need them.
At present i'm sure you have to opt in to donate your organs but your next of kin has the final word, i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong wink.
So are you going to donate yours?, do you carry a donor card to let your wishes be known?. Do your next of kin know your wishes?

Dangerous driving due to things such as have been mentioned is bad and should be stopped, of course, if at all possible. However what i do notice is that I have days where my driving is better than on other days. Sometimes mood can have dramatic effects on driving,

Sorry for snipping lost but I just wanted to say I completly agree with you on this point. Mood can have a huge impact on driving I think sometimes bigger than we all realise.
If I get in the car when im all stressed and angry I let other peoples driving get to me alot more and i'm much more likely to react with the two fingered salute and a few words than I would if I was in a good mood.
I do use hands free whilst i'm driving for talking on the phone but for the life of me I don't get how someone can drive and sent a text at the same time, I know I can multi task but i'm not that good...
There is a thread running from admin on this issue in the Chat forum.

Varca please please please put me out of my misery and tell me what FWB couple means... redface

Lyns!! biggrin LTNS!! Was it Bristol last time?? Way too long anyways! kiss
Our definition of FWB in this context is a Friends With Benefits relationship. We are very good friends in both the vanilla and the swinging sense but we are not a conventional couple. In terms of our FWB 'relationship', we are both individuals, we play together and we play totally separately but sometimes we get together with other like minded friends as a couple in order to play with couples, friends who are female and bi and one still yet to do is to play together with another guy biggrin
I guess there are those who will define us as a manufactured couple for the purposes of swinging. That is what we are in this context smile I don't have a liking for labels but it would not be right in our minds to advertise a link in either of our individual profiles or forum signatures that just said say Couple Profile. The FWB tag, lets people know from the off that we are not married or partners in that sense as there are couples who do not like to play with FWBs. Saves them wasting their time and clicking I guess. It's an each to their own thing really, some people won't care if we are not a 'proper' couple, some will, but the way we see it, they can at least then make an informed decision as to whether they want to play.
It all made sense to me writing the above, but it may all get lost in translation but I know what I mean lol.
I think there was a thread posted on the fors and againsts of FWB/Fuckbuddy couplings. I will see if I can find it and resurrect it from the depths of SH Towers smile
Someone throw me a rope to hold on to please, the vaults of SH Towers are deep, the corridors are long and twisty and the spiders are huge... ohh and they are incredibly dusty too, so if you hear sneezing that'll be me :giggle:
Varca, yes it was Bristol passionkiss.
I was sat for ages trying to figure out what FWB meant and I just had to post to find out cos im a nosey cow lol.
Not nosey at all hon, just interested and curious biggrin I still haven't found that thread, I'm sneezing like a goodun, covered in cobwebs and my torch batteries are low
Yayy I thought it was Bristol biggrin So when are you coming to a munch near me anytime soon???? passionkiss
Is Wigan near you confused: we are down for that one.
Will have a little root round in the basement for the thread, see if I have any luck, search ir not usually my friend tho...

whatever all the so called experts say, the only way to do it is well and truly hammered! Verve Cliquot, Moet, Bollinger, Tesco own brand.......... who cares so long as there's copious quantities and the shit who put the little angel there in the first place is footing the bill!
Relax and enjoy.

Is that safe? Or are you joking?
I sincerely hope it's a joke!
Same here
