Ageism ...means so many different things to different people
my granny is 86 and still going strong (although when i see her it is always this aches and this hurts but she still goes out more nights than i do)!
my dad is 67 and hardly walks and forgets what is was doing, etc.
my mum is 66 and walks 5 miles most days still works and likes to keep fit
there is the old saying 'life begins at 40!' it did for me but i wouldn't have hidden from that birthday no matter what, i am the age i am smile

although i am now nearly 41! i am not old nor do i think of myself as middle age ...i am too fit, too outgoing and too open minded to grab my slippers and pip to sit in a comfy care in front of a TV watching repeats!
the government has change law recently .....the bus pass for one both are now 60!
but they have also made laws in the work place ...you cannot call some one old or young within the work place in case you offend them! (i will admit .....we pull each others legs on this one! the week this law came out a lady turned 60 she had evey joke going and she is a fab person and laughed with us and at the law!)
on the point of age with swinging ...i find it funny that so many people feel they have to lie about their age ...on profile etc .....if you decide to meet then don't they relies that perhaps you may work out they are older! (coz it is mostly older people that lie about their age)! i don't think i will ever understand why lie about who you are and your age is part of you.
i will admit ..... i do have an age limit but this is coz i feel i get on with people around my age although i have meet at munches an older man by 12 yrs. (who knocked my socks off passionkiss

..... he kept up with me for hours ... fabulous! you know who you are m8 :thumbup: ) and i have meet someone 10 yrs. younger who just wanted bang bang all night ....not me! which is why like to meet people around 34 - 45ish but i will chat to anyone who is nice and honest who i get on with and who can handle the type of person i am, who knows now and then i meet someone younger or older due to the fact that we get on like a house on fire!
old age to me is when you naturally slow down which a different age to everyone, Lissa already said one here old is hopefully around 80 or so, when the body say's 'hay, i want a break!' or at least i hope it is somewhere around my 80's for me!

i was highly sexed when i was young but due to moving back to England i stopped being active and was shy! i meet my ex hubby when i was 20yrs and we parted when i was 25 yrs old! Sex was ok (well, i was in love with him confused

)! but it didn't rock my boat!
I then went 10 yrs without sex! for personal reason ... my family meant more than any man can!
Due to losing someone very dear to me i learnt that life is very short and you never know when your number is up plus i did promise that special person ..... I WOULD LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL! i try my hardest! innocent

the hardest part is trying to balance your normal life, work etc. and living with an open minded view and finding people that you can get on well with and enjoy their company as much as they enjoy yours at the same time enjoying life and respecting others views and likes/dislikes .....having some fun, games and laughs smile

some women find it hard to look open minded at swinging, i think this is down to the way some men see and treat women, there are lot of men who do not nor ever can respect women who swing! :shock: Some men think that swinging is just free sex (sorry if this offends some poeple ....but i think you know too well that i am not shooting arrows at individuals, i have meet with some very nice poeple over the last year biggrin

and i hope to continue, it is sites like this one that has a very good basic purpose in my type of life style ... be honest you know too well this type of man is on swinging sites plus perhaps in most people local club or even work place! lol

) it is because of these few men that some women find swinging hard to open up to

LOSE SLOWLY! cool

you didn't say how long you have been going to the gym!
it is always a good idea to balance your intake and out going energy ..... get to know your limits and your body limits smile

there are lots of different exercise ..... cycling, swimming, walking, jogging and gym ...all are good (yes, there is also Tennis and badminton etc)!
the gym is good if you want to tone up muscle but if you have (a lot) of fat there to begin with....then it is a good idea to try to loss a bit of weight first
walking, low key ...losses of the hips, legs, thighs, back and stomach (bad point ..time, if raining wet!)
jogging, high key (bad point ..prone to injury if done on hard ground or you have a weak point, if raining wet!)...losses every where
swimming, low key ... losses arms, thighs, legs and stomach (a little) but best of all for women ....pumps up the boobs! (no bad point)!
cycling, low key.... loss legs, back, bum! (bad point ..if its raining you get wet!)
gym, can be low key or high depending on you ...tones up muscle if fat there already then muscle onto fat .....with time the fat goes so i hope you have joined the gym for the next year!
as you will know being a man ... sit ups are the best!
