I sometimes stay at the Premier Inn, just off J 10 of M6, on the way to the club.
Nothing special in terms of luxury, etc, but clean, reliable, and they have someone on reception 24 hours, so you can get back late as you like!!

Oh dear - sorry to disappoint, but the party was Thurs 17 Jan, so you've missed it.
The club is open every night though - and afternoons on weekdays, so you can still try it out. There's no guarantees though.... you may be lucky and you may not. There are plenty of threades on this site to give you helpful tips though.

I can vouch for that..... you'll be made very welcome. Firstly by the staff, and then (hopefully) by some of the clientele...!!
I've been going for years, and have had some great times there. Plus lots of friendly chats,even when the playing side has been a bit quiet.
(Be warned - the pool table slopes like hell though.... lol

I can vouch for that.... he seems a nice guy, but I think just left it a bit late placing his ad, and didn't maybe phrase it right for this site.
If we were all stunned not to have had a flood of ladies replying to posts within the first 4 hours, then there would be a lot of very surprised blokes on here....

Plus you might find more success if you advertise a little earlier...
By on a Friday evening, a lot of people who can go out to meet without making arangements will have other plans..... and even those that don't may not be on the site at just the right time to catch you!
But - as NWC said - good luck and keep trying.
(Hope the TV has been good this evening, if you've been stuck in that motel on your own??!!)

That's true.... always busy.
Can be a bit overpowering for those not used to it, but if you've previously been in the week then I'm sure you'll have no problems at all..... After all - I assume you're not going for a nice quiet game of pool ?? biggrin

Well I nearly didn't go, but I'm glad I did... Even though I had to leave at about , I'd already had a great time in the jaccuzzi, in the steam-room, in the cinema and in the swing room on the top floor....
Probably just as well I didn't get to stay for the evening too - my knob would have been hanging off by home time!! lol

I'll be there in the afternoon... Hoping I can stay for the evening too.
Would be nice to meet some folks off here. How does this "birthday bash" differ from a normal club session though? Do we have a code so we know each other...? Maybe we all carry the Times and have a red rose in our.... well... I'm not sure *where* we'd have it really??!!
