Men as a rule have a higher sex drive than women as well as being more up for casual encounters and on the "scene" this means that there are LOADS more guys than girls hence we get ripped off for £50 to get in a club where for a single girl its £5 or even free. No matter how nice, friendly attractive nor how much of an effort you make single guys are all after the tiny number of women who are actually looking for single men so therefore alot of the time it is an utter waste of effort. There are basically two problems for single guys on the site:
- firstly, the fact that they often regard paying their SH subs as a licence to shag,
- and secondly, all the other single guys.
I have had some good meets off here - but along the way there are a lot (and I mean a LOT) of messages sent, chat conversations had, plans made - only to get rearranged, or cancelled, etc.
Fact is - there are loads more guys on here than there are couples & females looking for guys. So if you are to succeed, you have to be more than just a nice guy, you have to be head & shoulders above all the others. (Or perhaps I should have used another body part to emphasise the point
)
I've tried placing an ad in the Forum from time to time... and never heard a thing in reply. maybe too short notice, maybe my profile is not what people are looking for, or maybe it was just lost in the sea of single guys looking for the same as I was looking for.
I'd suggest make an effort with a few people, whose profiles suggest they are looking for someone like you. that is likely to be more effective than a random "mailshot" to the full membership.
And good luck - you are already one step on the way, in that you're open to listening to some advice!
