Well folks i'm off to buy my hat!!!

I hate these dreams- I'm half awake, well my mind is, but my body is asleep, and i'm kinda drifting into sleep and dreams but still aware of everything in the room around me
I first got this when i had glandular fever then had post viral fatigue, and it tends to happen to people when their sleep pattern is mucked up.
It's also common when you're in/ just out of hospital, again, your sleeping routine is all mucked up.
It really is horrible, terrifying, when i get it, thankfully the 'thing' is never on my chest- it's just in the room, and it's so hard trying to scream out to den to waken me up- it takes all my effort.
I know i'm not asleep cos if i've just drifted off on the sofa, i can still hear the tv word for word, i can still see den etc, but i'm getting the weird scary dream part too- yikes!

I get that a lot and yes it's very scary :shock: You try scream but nothing comes out but you know you have to keep trying to wake yourself up. That's what was happening to me last night :( My sleep pattern has been shot to pieces for so long between working nights and hospital and not slept right since.
How come I can't remember the nice dreams where I'm shagging George Clooney for all he's worth?

It occurs to me, that us boys need a little corner where we can go and relax and be boys, have a boys chat, a good scratch, and do all that important boys stuff which gets frowned on in mixed company.
So here it is, a girlie free zone where we can relax and be boys.
Perhaps we could talk about the girls on the site, and say all those things we wouldn't dare say when they were looking, swap notes and things.
