One from a while ago, funny now, but not at the time.
After my mum died and I was sorting out here house etc, I called electricity company to ask then to turn off electric supply and for final bill etc. I was on hold for 45 minutes to get through and when I did I explained that no I wasn't the cuctomer, and no they couldn;t speak to her (this was after I had already said why I was phoning to start with) they then said, okay you need to speak to the moving persons dept :shock: and put me on hold before I could respond! Well another 20 minutes on hold, and by this time I was livid.
Someone finally answered, and asked for details again, and off we went, No I wasn;t the customer, No they couldn't speak to her, anyway, afer having to cut in and say that I need the electricity switching off as my mum was no longer alive and no one was at the address - the flucking idiot asked if they could take the new address amd would she need her elctricity supply switching on there!
Well I am afraid I lost it at this point! I sort of shouted a bit, ok a lot, and told then her new address was plot xxxx (can't remember number) Southern Cemetry, Manchester, first coffin down and no I didn;t think she would be needing electricity there!
This was absolutely awful at the time, such bad service, nobodty actually listening just following a script, but now it makes me laugh so much!
Just make the noise and brazen it out! They're probably wishing it was them anyway!

Seriously, I agree with you, I'm only 27 and single so I am enjoying myself enormously and exploring my boundaries.
I think that you are right and that people do tend to judge if you are younger, they don;t think you neccessarily have the maturity tey fell is neccessary, I also agree with you that, that isn't always to with age. Unfortunately, we do get a large number of younger (usually men, or boys!) who use the site and treat it as an instant-shag place, and who post the most riduclous stuff. Unfortunately, tend to cloud some peoples view I think. The best thing is for people to get to know you, through posts on forum, in chat and in person at socials and munches.
