Why don't you use the same stuff that Cameron Diaz used in the "something about Mary" film, I'm sure that would work great and I would glady help apply it wink

rolleyes Oh here man, that got mentioned in the chat the other night and I've now acclaimed the nickname of Cameron by someone :lol2:

I've had my hair cut as a layered bob but I've now lost that "hairdressers" look  The hair dresser used wax on my hair to give it that kinda messy look.
I bought some hair wax and tried to do what she did but just isn't the same. I know it's a typical scenario, but Ive never used wax before.
What I've been doing is rubbing a little wax on my fingertips then rubbing my fingertips on my scalp in a "volumising" way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't sad
I've watched some videos on the V05 website, it has helped a little, but not really much as they're all men and one woman, and the woman has long hair.
Does anyone have this kinda style? How do u apply wax? Can u apply the wax to wet or towel dried hair then blow dry?

i quite like to see hats but them i am 40!!! ffs creampie!
but i like the ones now you can get that are just on a head band and not a full hat but larger than a fascinator, i have also worn one of them to a wedding but it was a goth wedding lol!
I think its nice that people go that little bit more special for your special day.
but wear whatever you feel comfortable in, its all personal choice, and you will enjoy the day much more if you are comfortable

What? dunno
:lol2:
Yeah, them hairband things are cool. Is that how them little sidewards hat things stay on?
Psssssst Earthy, have u not noticed my name has changed? lol kiss

You're not much older than me Nola, and I see hats being wore at weddings those who are over 40 lol I'd feel weird wearing a hat at a wedding. In fact, when I went to my best friend's wedding a few yrs ago, I didn't wear a hat, I didn't even give it a thought.

My sis is in her early forties
Yeah to be honest, I have never ever worn a hat to any wedding I've been to. I was just a bit surprised at my sister's reaction and yes, it was very much 'it's a wedding therefore one must wear a hat.'
I think I'd rather spend the money on shoes!
Ditto!!! :lol2:
How about one of them tiny things that sit sideways on ur head? U know the ones I mean? kiss
About 3 weeks ago with another couple from here to kick things off biggrin :D :D :D :D
When was the last time u dialled 999?

Like Sassy said, if you're not going to feel comfortable wearing one, I wouldn't get one.
I know what u mean that when someone mentions wedding, it's "do I need to get my hat?" cos it's the whole tradition thing.
Like Mrs Tin said, not everyone wears them kiss
That's just me tho biggrin
