Maybe you should forget the old ways we drop into and as suggested just ask for more help? I too struggle with things, when asking often lightens the load. A problem shared is a problem halved. Just read the bits you HAVE to, and take small notes of the really important bits, and read in steps for about 19 to 15 mins NOT hours...it helps, and have set TIMEOUTS....to chill and get some fresh air into your lungs. Any everttime you feel it is too much, look at all the shitty jobs many of us have because we either did not get the chance you did, or just could not hack it. It will all be fine in the wash...but getting somewhere will never be that easy..unless you are royaly...! ( ? )
I was watching one of those early morning documentaries the other day, as you do when the lack of sleep drives you to despare, and I watched a guy who actually tasts cat and dog food to see if it has the qualities it needs.
Now maybe it is me, but opening the tins is bad enough, and I laugh at the cat food ads, which show clever cats refusing the cheap 'brand', to their own, and then going outside, to as we all know chew some roadkill and the likes? I also think it is a fact that the food is SO bad, that is why afterwards, regardless of cat or dog, they lick their own arseholes to get rid of the taste...?
Anyone think I have found 'it'...?
It would have been better if it was the middle finger, then you could have taken them back and asked for a refund and if refused shown them both the wear and tear AND the bird if they got stroppy...?
I think I prefer green concrete more EVER year!

I have read the spelling tutors on hear can be a trite harsh, so maybe it will slip bye? Have you noticed though, you ALWAYS find the things wrong JUST when you need then the most?
The gloves with the holes in the wrong place..
The fork that wont stick in the ground because one of the teeth are bent...
Or the blinking rake that is as much use as a comb to a baldy man!
My only real addiction is to being a bit too soft with people who play on my good nature when I should really do a gazzer and squeeze their doo dahs... mad
Not the wrong spelling by the way...
Why is it, when you need them so badly, they let you down ( like men )? Been in the garden today, and found a split in mine which made my left foor squelch, and it was darn cold. To add insult to injury I had a stone in the other boot, only to find it was actually a dead snail. And then spade decided to decapitate itself on the second dig in the ground... so all in all a weird gardening day...Oh yes AND I almost lost an eye when the tree branch swung back as I stumbled over the headless spade!
Must remember to keep the wellies in the house NOT the shed...!
In a way the films portray the book good, but for avid fans of so many, it robs you somewhat of the pictures you get in your head when you read. Like so many of the popular books turned to film, you find often the film lacks because the effects and monitary bugets can never be as vast as the ones inside your head. I am SO glad they have not done the HOBBIT, which will ALWAYS be my favorite. And also they skip parts, and add others like in Jurrasic Park, where in the book Hammond got eaten by some of his creatures???

Ant Music was always an innovation with the twin drums off sync....

Anybody who's seen my music collection (or lack of one) will know that I aint really that clued up but..........surely the twin drums innovation was copied from Gary Glitter and the Glitterband from several years earlier??? dunno
Steve
Too true, and I was not saying it was his idea, it was the fact it was fixed to be just off sync like one leading a fraction of a second beforethe other to achieve the sound. I always find musical stuff to be purely fascinating because many people have many memories of it because it IS the first love of so many of us...?
Thanks for the musical quote.....
What I liked best about adamant was he reinvented himself LONG before maddona came onto the scene.. Remember the video for 'Stand and Deliver'...?
Ant Music was always an innovation with the twin drums off sync...mind their has been SO MANY memorable groups to thank, and my all time fav list is endless. I just love Ian Dury too, for his music, his boldness and for what he did outside of the scene.
He was pillion passenger on a motorbike in London when it hit a car I believe. He is badly in hospital. I was not a great fan of his too be honest due to peer pressure, but afterwards I discovered his music was, well inspiring. I doubt many could say they have not heard his distintive voice.
Thanks for the prince charming quote. I always admired him too, and again peer pressure was against me saying so, along with culture club and many others. Guess it is good to look back and reflect where you should have been stronger?
Ironical as I post on here that someone influential in the 80's music scene is critically ill in hospital. As the nickname implies I am a very much lover of all sorts of music and it has always been my passion. Before I discovered myself I had music, and it is still so true today...regardless of what mood I am in, or whom I am with, it always helps me to feel the best.
Anyhow that seems enough for now...
