what i am going to write now is only an opinion so obviously its not right or wrong its just my opinion.....
i think the main problem is with all these claim money for this claim money for that type places that are about now social services are actually scared to do anything incase they get it wrong, if social services was able to take children away while the cases was looked into then return them back home if it was found to be a mistake knowing there would be no come back from the parents i think more children would be safer, but they can't social services are actually scared to make alligation and remove kids as they are scared of the come back if the parents press charges, its just a stupid system we have, job or no job noones going to put themselves in a possition where they are going to get taken to court and sued for doing their job, they have their own family and children to think about, i would'nt do their job i know that.
Obviously tho, something has to be done because there are far to many of these type stories lately, children should'nt have to live like this.

:lol: I'm sure you will get there again, if i can do it anyone can, i have spend most of my adult life over weight, i left school a size 16 and with each child i just got bigger and bigger till i got to the point i did'nt even bother to loose weight because to me i was fat and usless and was doomed to fail before i even started, i have no idea what triggered in my head to decide i was going to loose weight, it was just a feeling that i really needed to do this for me, and i have never looked back since, i'm more happier, healthier and confident now, and its worth all the hard work and sacrifices, i never wanted to be skinny when i joined i just wanted to get down to a size that i felt was 'normal' i remeber the feeling when i first got into a size 12 after being a size 20+ all my adult life, it was wonderful

I think it can be either, i have a very good friend that suffers from mental health problems and she has tried to kill herself on several occasions and she also self harms, shes not after attention, she has mental health problems and sometime lifes just get to hard for her to cope, lots of people are in that situation, i would say if/when you get to the bottom of the problem with your sister you will find more, because i find it very hard to believe that usually stable and happy person would top themselves after a argument over money.
I don't give to charity, not because i am uncaring but simple because most of the money raised does not end up where its supposed to anyway, maybe if i gave money it would make me look/feel a better person but most of the collectors are on a commission, the moneys taxed again after its already been taxed before you even get it and the bosses at the top of charity organizations are on a huge salary, all of which comes out of the money you give!!! if i have spare money i give it to my own kids at least that way i know where its going.
My middle daughter went ot hit me once, you can't sterio type the type of child that does this, it wasnt a case of she was naughty at 4 and got worse every since, she was a very loving child and it wasn't till she hit puberty that she started, lets say going off the rails slighty, now i know people always blame the parents for everything kids do and to me thats wrong, when they get to teenage years they develope their own personalitys and no matter what you do some kids will just fight against you, i would never hit any of my kids, i have three daughters and have never risen a hand to any of them, i do not believe its the way, but bar hitting her i have tried everything, now as i have just said i have three kids and neither of my other children are like her, my eldest is a pleasure to have, then youngest is only 7 so not hit the teenage years yet, but over all a good child, i have said on many occasions how can you bring kids up the same and them be so very very diffarent?? if it was my bad parenting thats made my middle daughter the way she is why arn't all my children the same?
