Well I have to agree the Japanese cars are going to figure high in the reliability stakes although possibly not so cheap if something does go wrong.
I have to agree with Tan n Kinky don't dismiss Skoda Octavia, Superbe or Fabia they are ostensibly made from Volkswagen Golf and Passat parts but have a better build quality. They tend to be in cheaper insurance groups too. I have an Octavia which has done 120,000 miles and it's just sailed through it's MOT.
I have been in two conversations since the advent of new year with totally unrelated persons and found that my views that all races creeds and colours are equal and should be treated equally only to be told that all muslims are of that nature amazed me ...do I have to start fearing what I say and to whom .... vote for the BNP and one day we may all have to watch what we say.
My youngest daughter telling me I'd fit in in a mental hostel ...it so made me laugh . lol
Happy new year to one and all ...anjd especially to those who are special amongst us xxx

Have a wonderful birthday and may it herald a new year of wonderful adventures and fabulous experiences.

It seems to me these events are loved by all who attend . I would be very grateful if I could attend the next one .
Thanks Ngde
I consider myself straight as I don't get turned on in anyway by thoughts or sights of male on male sex. I note when I am in chat rooms and put on my cam(face only) I usually get more guys watching than women . God knows why ...they must be bored stiff(ahem well not stiff lol). Having checked a few profiles because I'd assumed these were gay guys they seem to be split roughly 5050 between bi and straight males. Not sure why a straight male wants to watch my ugly mug on cam ...but each ti their own I guess
Logging on to my e-mail today and........
I've got a job :bounce::bounce::bounce:
17 months at bloody last .....wey heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Isn't the fact that he managed to hack into such a sensitive and critical system of huge importance to the USA and the rest of the world. Imagine the complacency that would exist around these systems if we didn't have guys like Mckinnon and the consequential danger of vulnerable systems at that level is unthinkable. He should be slapped on the wrist and employed immediately.
I think we should have a little empathy with Tiger's missus after all she shares some of our affinities .....well allegedly she's into Swinging clubs!!
For many buildings insurance is just becoming unaffordable. Companies are increasing premiums out of all proportion of the owners ability to afford them. It requires a national solution to a problem that once again hits the poorest the hardest.
Is it time for a r evolution ????
I had major issues with an aunt and ended up having to pay £28000 to the local authority and a further £11000 to the taxman as they had been paying her a pension credit. This was ruled as being not appropriate as she had a small annuity which she got for signing over 25% of the equity in her house. It's crazy because her weekly outgoings at her own house were in the region of £150/week when she went into residential care her outgoings went up to £600/week.
As far as I recall eligibility was means tested and it varies by local authority. In South Wales it was something like if you had more than £12000 in assets ...including cash, bank accounts and the value of your house (if you have any equity in it), then you have to fund your own care(and they can force you to sell the house to meet the debt).
Finding out the appropriate information is a nightmare as it is not easily gleaned without experienced help.I am a reasonably intelligent guy but struggled woefully to find or understand the rules.
Age concern or citizens advice would be my advice ....you could hire an experienced solicitor ...but if like me because you own a house you are denied legal aid and the alternative of failing and being left to pay your own costs is far to terrifying to consider this route.
Best of luck I hope you fare better than I did.
