Even if I was a size 8 I'd probably still not be happy and want to be thinner.
This probably won't make sense but the way I feel is that because I used to be really quite big I always see myself that way, even when I've lost weight I see myself as I was back then.....I have the visible evidence to prove it and that won't ever go away so I'll more than likely always see myself as I do now.
I do have bags more confidence when I've lost weight - I find myself much more outgoing rather than being embarassed for the way I look.
I have lost a bit of weight in the past few months but nothing noticeable. I seem to lose it fast but it slowly creeps back on, I'm just someone who will have to battle constantly with my weight and eating habits.

Very true. There are some lovely single guys on the site and a lot of them are always having to prove that they're not like some of the idiots.
