I have just grown my hair again after having a skin head. My friends once called me GI Jane. I dident notice him looking at me as I was to busy talking. Us women do notice men looking at us most of the time but just choose to pretend we havent
Well that's just not fair! Multi-skilling is yet again demonstrated to be the ultimate aim...
It would be more helpful if you held up some sort of sign - prefferably in huge letters, with co-ordinated lighting effects that told us :)

Well done! Running a marathon is on my "to do" list, not really sure how to tackle it cos i am only doing 10k's and feeling knackered - hence the list confused

If somonecalls over the phone to sell something, ask if they can hold on a sec and just put the phone down, not hand up but leave them on hold as it were - am sure they would get the message somehow smile

i remember we were getting prank calls a while ago - number was withheld and it realy got to me...
anyway, i rang BT and when i got through to the right dep't they were really helpful, they put a block on witheld numbers i think, i forget the name of the service but i think it was free for a month or two but then they were going to charge an extra Â£4 for the service but i figured when the prats got bored of trying to get through they would maybe grow a brain cell and move on...

Maybe i am being a young fogey but i cant believe what kids get away with these days.
Not sure if its a PC thing or what but they way some behave, and believe they get away with it, pisses me off. I am damn sick of the argument that "boys will be boys" or "oh they're only kids" I once went round to some parents house, and you wonder how they get their role model/example from.
I dont personally believe in the caning thory, or national service etc, but there has got to be some sort of personal responsibilty, on the kids as well as the parents part. I dont have kids as yet, but i know that when i do they would be the most important thing in my life and i wouldn't want them out at all hours, not knowing where they were. Is it really that hard to take responsibilty for bringing someone into this crazy world.
I think its too easy to blame tv/the media for highlighting the situation. Not seen jackass for ages, but i assume it doesnt say "right kids, you've seen us do it now try it for yourself type of thing". Aso, i know its not all kids that are brats, but those that are - grrr
ok off my soapbox...
p.s. would banning hoodies stop the behaviour? Prsonally i have never seen a hoodie acting on its own volition...anyway thats another thread rolleyes

I think cleaners have a way of making conversation whilst not actually listening/paying attention to anything in their sphere hygiene - its a rare gift i think.
Though knowing my luck i wouldnt have been able to get a signal on my phone/or the battery would have run out!

Hi all
new to the board - have to agree with most of what's been said. I'm not a doctor, but it takes no more than common sense for someone to know that a chillds rash needs to be checked out asap - do people in public health services not realise that they are there to serve the publics health (though i am not having a go at nurses, doctors et al) just the overall systems that go around them! E.g. on a wednesday afternoon our docs surgery is open between the fantastic hours of !
