I think it means that some time should pass before revenge is sought - the avenger should then be calmer and less impulsive, and the person being avenged is unaware, or at least unprepared, so the action should have more impact.

We've met some great single guys, mostly older than us and at parties, where we have had a chance to physically meet and chat face-to-face first, however I can see where you're coming from as lots of couples I know won't even entertain single guys at all(most are after girls). We personally do, and once we get aquainted properly (ie face-to face, not over the net) will have great fun together. I think if you are genuine enough and can convince people of that then your onto a winner! And I know thats alot easier said than done....

I had mine done a couple of years ago with a titanium ring, and it went really, really nastyafter a few months of looking like it was healing normally. It was really sore and 'flesh' started growing around the ring and hole. I went back to the piercer who said it may have been caused by the waistband of my work trousers rubbing on it (even though I taped a melonin pad to it every day) or just plain pure rejection and my body not wanting it. I was gutted cos I loved it!! And now all I have is a noticeable scar above my belly button were it was.
Anyway the moral of the story is.... maybe your body is trying to say 'no thankyou'

As I mentioned on a previous thread, we tried a 'smaller' party at a private house for our first time and it worked out really well, the lovely hostess (who could see we were bricking it) introduced to a similar couple and we hit it off with them straight away and the other couples they introduced us to. Really glad we went-so don't be afraid-parties are the best!!!! :welcome:

Just a tip for anyone who hasn't been to a party yet....
We went to a 'smaller' party (about 30 couples) at a private house for our first time, and the hostess was fantastic, saw we were both sh**ting a brick and introduced us to another similar aged couple (she'd obviously had alot of experience!) who we ended up having a great night with and met loads of other couples through. Better than a 'normal' party! Now we have a good circle of friends to try more 'scary' places like clubs with!!
