Probably more stable, too (the Spectrums) - yes, even with a wobbly RAM pack! There is a TCP/IP stack around for them that is workable I believe. Win95/98's networking is unbelievably flaky, even with stable device drivers and all the patches. They gave up for Win2k and nicked it from another O/S (allegedly... or was it proven in court?)

They used the TCP/IP stack from BSD, which is perfectly acceptable and within the terms of the BSD licence. However it does render their argument about open source software being a danger to intellectual property somewhat less convincing (not that it was ever very convincing).

If Virgin had their act together, they could trace the phone by using it's IMEI number and tell the police fairly accurately where it is next time it's used. Sadly, I don't think Virgin do have thier act together.

the problem with mobile phones is...ermmm...well they mobile wink
Well yes, but if they're turned on with a SIM card in them then they're communicating with at least one cell, often two or three. The technology used can give an indication of the signal strength (so it knows when to change cells as you move around) which tells you roughly how far the 'phone is from the cell it's communicating with. If you've got data from two or three cells then finding the 'phone is a simple matter of drawing a few circles on a map and seeing where they intersect.

must be a candidate for the Darwin Awards

Well they're both alive and don't appear to have permanently damaged their reproductive capacity, so they'd get an honourable mention at best.
Ouch!
I had a mate once who admitted to frying sausages in the nude, apparently it's not recommended due to problems with stray oil spattering delicate parts of the body.

The website the little thief bought he phone from should log their IP address thereby they will have all the information to hand when the bank cuffs them around the ear to give them the money back. So with said info they can pass this onto the old bill so they can do the neccessary.
I take it this person must have seen both front and rear of the card to get the 3-digit security number on the back?and able to write it down quickly.
Blue has this card left your sight? eg at a restaurant when you gave the waiter/waitress it to pay for a meal?
This used to be a ploy by a certain indian restaurant in Brum who's dodgy waiters used to save CC numbers to go on spending spree's.

Would that be the same restaurant (located on a certain major drinking street next to Bridley Place) that had resident cocaine dealers in the loos? Not that I've ever been there, but that kind of stuff gets around.

We have been fantasizing and now willing to plunge, to start with wife loves the idea of being forced/ by a 19 to early 20s year old young guy. Fleshy thighs and bit hairy chest makes her cum more. MFM. Never tried anything before, we are first timers, 30M/26F/Surrey

Nice post. PM sent.

Nice post???
Forced/ is nice????
Surely not!!!!
D
Well it may not be your thing (it's definitely not mine), but force/ fantasies or roleplay are actually relatively common, at least going by certain sites full of erotic fiction I've browsed. At least by advertising here there's some chance that whoever they get will know the line between fantasy and reality.

Come on guys, I was expecting a full PM box by now lol

Sorry Helen, I would have expressed an interest but I'd have to get up before 6 am to get to yours by 10 in the morning and that doesn't happen for anyone (it's a different matter if they're able to prod me awake and provide tea before I've growled at them smile).

Oh dear rolleyes
I have to say, judging by the one piece of female bodybuilder porn I've seen, I'd be worried that her clit might well be bigger than my tackle.

Have a good time, the only places I have been to on a holiday up there were Lord Chancellors Pub where I got attacked by a hen party on the dancefloor to love shack biggrin  biggrin and Reflex (80's bar) which doesn't sound like your cup of tea where I had a woman try to get my cock out on the dancefloor
Thinks why the hell havent I been back there since :!: confused: :!: confused: That never happens down here
Regards
Harry Jones

Thanks, hopefully it should be fun, and if all else fails I can sit in the corner and discreetly perve at all the cute goths/rockers/punks etc.
I haven't suffered attention like that since I made the mistake of being on the Student Union dancefloor at the same time as the women's football team - not an experience I'd wish to repeat (the women's rugby team would have been a different matter, but there you go).

You can find indie and punk music at the Head of Steam, across from the Railway Station. There's a metal bar around there somewhere too. Closer to the pink triangle, or there was one.

Thanks, might check that one out as well.

is a is a bj better than morphine

I don't know about better than morphine, but a good bj should produce plenty of neurotransmitters that act on the same receptors, so it'd be a good substitute, with the advantage that as far as I'm aware it doesn't cause constipation.
Best wishes to you both, hope SirLee has a swift recovery and isn't too exhausted by repeated 'nursing'. wink

Hi Hun
Trillions is a good place to start if you are wanting to try out that scene......Haymarket also has that type of pub......more my scene than the bigg market or the other trendy areas in town.
Hope you find someone to go with you and have lots of fun.
X

Cool, thanks for the info. I haven't really checked out any of the pubs/clubs in these parts yet despite living here for nearly two years, but figure I might as well give it a shot. If I'm not enjoying myself I can always head home and chill in front of the PC as usual, but I fancy a change and tomorrow seems as good a time as any.
I'm going to be at a bit of a loose end tomorrow night so thought I'd get off my behind and finally get around to checking out the (relatively) local rock/punk/metal scene. (Unless of course I get a better offer in the mean time, you never know.wink) Trillians seems like as good a place as any to start, at least from what I've been told by other people, none of whom happen to be free tomorrow so I'm on my own.
Just wondering if there was a chance of bumping into anyone from SH if I do so? Or does anyone have a better suggestion as to where I should be going?

Following advice previously on here I switched to Mozilla Firefox ages ago and that has proved 99.9% better than Outlook.

An excellent choice, I use Firefox for email and Thunderbird as a mail client, mainly so I can use the same software whatever OS I happen to have running at the time.

I actually had a good mate who got a job offer from GCHQ - he ummed and aahed about it for a week or so before deciding that it really wasn't the kind of place that he'd be comfortable working.
I'd tend to agree with him, it's definitely not my cup of tea.

I dont blame him, cleaning jobs are tenapenny
wink
Actually it was their graduate program, he's something of a genius when it comes to programming computers and artifical intelligence. He decided he'd be much happier working for a laid-back dot com startup (the kind of place where they took fridays off because the boss couldn't be bothered to go to work five days a week and it was considered acceptable behaviour to crawl under your desk with a pillow and sleep off the previous night's excesses).

There are many medical conditions that you may have which you should not use viagra if you have, being high blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, people who suffer from fits to name but a few and the scary thing is you may have one of these problems and not even know
never take viagra unless given by you doctor :jagsatwork:
lol lol lol

I agree fully with the last sentence, but thought it worth mentioning that diabetes is not a contra-indication for Viagra, in fact it's one of the common reasons why somebody might need to be prescribed Viagra.

Hello - I'm back. Ran Xsoftspy (after paying for it.)
I was already very clean and haven't looked at anything other that Swinging Heaven, WOMAD and the Radio Times in ages. (How sad does that make me!) So I'm certain the spyware came in through SH.
Be warned. As I say it's never happened before so our defenses may have been breached.
Jezzay.

Spyware generally doesn't get in like this, and it'd be fairly easy for Mark to check if somebody had cracked the server in order to do so.
As TnH said, various worms can get into your system if you're online without a firewall (or even with a firewall if it's not locked down tight).
Depending on your email client (Outlook and Outlook Express being the two worst offenders) it may have come in via email.
I'd probably say eyes and smile, the rest of the physical package really isn't that important to me, though personality is, which is probably why I went for the two most expressive parts of the human body.

Well it works, but it's hardly elegant.
That sounds like scumware of some kind, have you installed any new software recently that might have had a nasty or nasties attached to it? Is your browser set to download and install software automatically?
As Jags mentioned, make sure you've got up to date anti-virus software installed and use a program that checks for unwanted nasties. If you need to know where to find stuff like this, PM me and I'll send you the links. Both of the programs I'm thinking of have paid-for versions as well as free ones, which is why I'm not going to link to them in this post.
Possibly a fair point, though remember that there are lots of people who use the chatrooms regularly but don't read the forums, and vice versa (I'm one of the latter category, I've never got the hang of chatting online in real time, I prefer to have at least a few minutes to consider what I'm writing). They may also be people who're known personally by regular users of SH, although they don't use the site themselves much.

That was more my point to be honest. Not that you can't buy it, but it's best not to buy it without consulting a doctor, I would have thought. People might have something else wrong with them that could result in other problems if they also used Viagra without their doctor's advice.

You're right Bev, and that goes for any prescription-only medication.
Mike.
Another fair point, I wasn't going to condone people taking or swapping prescription-only medication willy-nilly. I've done so in the past, but I have the advantage of a sound education in biochemistry, physiology, and pharmacology, not to mention a couple of years experience as a pharmacy tech that included working in Drug Information and with the people who compile reports of adverse reactions. (Any pharmacists reading this are probably about to point out that I should know better, but lots of them do it too.)
I should also point out that whilst giving somebody prescription-only medication is legal, if they did have a reaction to it you could well be liable for damages in a civil court.

You realise you'll now become known as 'DP' don't you? :giggle: :giggle:

Maybe we could rescue you from that by calling you "Dev Prev"....mind you, if you were a vicar, you could be the Rev Dev Prev. lol
I did notice that there's already a user called DP on the system, so that's possibly not the best way of addressing me as it's liable to cause at least a little confusion.
You could just call me Dan.
I think that might go into my sig, just so people know I'm cool with it (having seen dambuster's fully justified rant yesterday about being referred to by his real name on here).
