Just a thought, but do you notice a different reaction from people when you're using crutches as opposed to a wheelchair?
I can understand you preferring to use a chair when socialising, I've used crutches in the past and know how little care people take around them (then again, I was a schoolboy at the time - and they took more care after I belted the class toerag with one after he tried to steal it from me for a laugh  ).
Hi johnny, I was interested to read your post as I'm in a somewhat different, but related situation. My partner has a chronic neurological condition, that means we're lucky to get it on more than once every three months or so, and even then we don't normally manage more than a bit of a fumble and a quickie (not to mention all the times we try and it ends up impossible, leaving me with a bad case of blue balls).
I have in the past considered paying for sex, but decided against for two reasons: a gut instinct that this was something I didn't really want to do, and the practical point that it wasn't a viable long-term solution from a financial perspective. I don't have any moral high horse about sex workers, I just felt that I wouldn't enjoy it if I knew it was bought rather than given freely.
Thanks everyone, some of these are even weirder than I'd ever imagined or come across before.
well I'm not a cpl with bi fem, and I'm not going to Club F tonight, but have a good time anyway (I'm sure you will).
Well you could look for it if you're paranoid, but a ball is highly unlikely to cause any damage even if it does get lodged somewhere for a while (which it's highly unlikely to do, being spherical).
I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, you'd be amazed at some of the things I've heard of being passed through the human digestive system.
My uncle is a Punch & Judy man and when he first started he used to swallow his swazzle (little metal thing held in the back of the throat to do Punch's voice) on a regular basis.
I don't necessarily mean that you give it a name, I'm merely after the word you use for that particular organ. After all, Ithere aren't many people who used 'penis' or 'vagina' to refer to parts of their own body outside of a medical setting.
Oh, and this thread prompted me to recall a comment a female friend once made concerning a recent conquest:
"He didn't have much of a pork sword, more like a spam dagger"
I think I've been listening to too much Monty Python recently - specifically the penis song ("isn't it awfully nice to have a penis, isn't it frightfully good to have a dong" etc, etc).
This got me thinking (not generally a good idea, but what the hell), what do you people out there call your bits?
Personally I tend to find myself referring the the 'old man', 'old chap', or my 'tackle' or 'undercarriage' (particularly if I've just caught it on something for some reason).
This also prompted a second question: what's the strangest name you've ever heard somebody else use for their bits?
I can still remember meeting a very odd bloke (ex public schoolboy and trainee RAF officer) who referred to his knob as his 'yoghurt-spitting womb ferret' or his 'porridge cannon'.
Just to help make things clear, the latest Police reports are that he was a suspect they had been following who was challenged and ran. Whether or not he was armed, he certainly wasn't an innocent victim and the decision to take him down if he was believed to pose a threat would probably have been taken long before he ran from them.
There are unconfirmed reports that he was the Oval bomb suspect, though the description I heard sounds more like the bloke from the Number 26 bus. The police have released CCTV stills of the four suspects, htey're available on the BBC website.
Thank you DreamerHelen, nice to know my efforts are appreciated, even if they are as yet unfruitful.
I remember hearing a story that in WWII in Burma, British troops took to placing them over the end of their rifles to keep water out of the barrel. The British army consequentially started ordering 12" long condoms to be made as they were less likely to slip off the end of the barrel. When the Americans saw this they asked us if they could copy them for their own troops, and apparently Winston Churchill agreed, providing every single one was printed with the legend:
British Standard - Medium
Incidentally, does anyone have a good recommendation for extra-wide condoms? I've never split one, but I've also never been able to simply roll one on and my old chap is definitely larger without one on (not by much, maybe a quarter inch in each dimension, but enough to notice).
Shameless bump back onto page 1.
I think it might be more useful (assuming this was the intent of the original post) to talk about cosmetic surgery rather than plastic surgery, as strictly speaking plastic surgery is a much broader area.
Personally I really can't understand why anyone would put themselves through a surgical procedure that carries an (admittedly small) risk of serious complications and the virtual certainty of discomfort at the very least, purely in order to look more 'attractive'. Despite my fairly numerous deviations from what the media at least would consider handsome I'm happy with what I look like and wouldn't change a thing (unless I could somehow gain the ability to lick my eyebrows whilst breathing through my ears  ).
Fair enough that the death rate is relatively low in the UK, but if I were you I'd go and look up recorded and estimated infection rates.
It is perfectly possible to live a long and relatively healthy life with HIV, but it requires you to be constantly aware of your own health and to take various combinations of some pretty powerful medication for the rest of your life. It also requires you to take precautions to prevent you from infecting anyone else for the rest of your life.
Personally I'm not paranoid that I'd get HIV from having unprotected sex, I'd be much more worried about the 1 in 9 chance that the person you're playing with has Chlamydia (used to be called NSU before scientists knew what was causing it).
madindian - I'm quite surprised you're not getting any luck, where abouts are you looking for people? You can't be that far from Brum/the black country and there should be plenty of couples around there who've got experience with asian men (I've seen some of them advertising specifically for them).
Personally, I like to view people as individuals and don't have preconceived ideas about any group of people, though considering the number of adverts on here requesting vvvwh black men I don't have a problem with my ad expressing a distinct liking for asian ladies..
