I know several people who've been to Afganistan and a very close friend is due out there in September and my son is due out in March next year.
Most people I have spoke to who are in the forces doesnt agree with what is going on out there, but as they say they have signed up to fight for queen and country and if they have to go they will. Most of them also say the extra money they get is more appealing to them and they dont tend to think of the danger that they could be in.
I know of one Captain who came back from Afganistan 8 weeks ago has already asked for a posting back there as his new job in this country is boring and he wants to be back on the front line which he was.
The only thing I dont understand is why the government do not help out more when the troops are coming back to this country injured and it takes the charity "Help For Heroes" to raise money to help these lads out.
So if you are reading this please log onto the above website and get yourself a wrist band they are only as the lads could really do with your support.

I did work experience back in the mid 80's and completely hated it. The people were really horrible and treated us really badly and actually made 4 of us change our mind about what we wanted to do when we left school. It was too late for us to change our choice of GCSEs so we all had to go to college once leaving school and re-do some exams to get into the work we really wanted to do.

Yes Witchy that point I do agree with. I have known friends who fell into that bracket.
But let's be honest here every single bad kid out there can now feel it has a " disorder ~" when you and I know that most are just plain naughty.
But some of these children do not get the help they need until it is too late. Government funding is limited and for a child to be assessed for some conditions can take years.
My son has autism spectrum Disorder and it was picked up when he was at pre-school, now a year he will be getting his final assessment at the end of July for proper confirmation of his condition. However a child in my daughter class who is 10 has been "classed" as a naught child has been on a waiting list for 3 years to be assessed for autism.
And a few weeks ago on one of those day time shows a 19 year who was classed as Britains naughties child at the age of 5 years old has just had it confirmed he has ADHD.
If the Government pulled their finger out and gave more funding then perhaps we wouldnt have so many children who seem to have missed out on getting the help they need.

The problem is Kent you always comment without finding out about the subject you have taken to heart.
If you took the trouble to know things before making prejudicial assumptions you wouldnt casue quite so much offence so often. I tir eof pointing you in the right direction since once your prejudice is established you seem incapable of taking on board any new information.
Benny....I did research this " new " illness. In my day it was just called being a little git, but of course nowadays anyone that is ever so slightly off the middle of the road, is labelled with some disorder or another.
Most people just have bad habits but of course people like yourself always see it as something else. Another disorder they think up.
Disorders are just like reading your stars. If I was to read one that is not mine, something in that is always relevant to me. Just like these so called disorders. I can link most of them to me in some way. I can do the opposite to what I am told, or be naughty as a kid or even I think I am superior to some people.
So what disorder do I fall into? I would say most of them in some way.
Trouble is Benny people like yourself that knock me always seem to have an answer, but it is not always a sensible one. Why do people continue to blame others or something, when in reality it is mainly just because the person is naughty, or just purely has been brought up by parent or parents that would not know a parent if it appeared out of their arses.
My opinion is that things like ODD are just an excuse, that goes away from the real issues, which are quite simply no boundaries and bad parents.
And how the hell can you say that "Disorders are just like reading your stars".
In your day there wasnt disorders like ADHD or ASS and the children would have just been classed as naught children. And yet now we can offer these children who have these disorders the help that they really need.

Hi,
Myself and a lady friend intend to visit one of the sites along the A46 (Bath) on Tuesday night (1st July).
We have both dogged before but not together and would like to meet discreet, clean, respectful people. Obviously, as it's our first time together experiencing the scene, we would like the night to go as smoothly as possible and enjoy ourselves. Saying that, if we feel pressured or if the situation gets out of hand, we will leave.
If you are interested in joining/meeting us, then please get in touch. Preference will be given to those in our age group (it's what she likes) 30 - 40 and who can provide a photo.
