Simply solved, get onto AOL 9, I haven't had a single pop up or any spam in the last nine months. At a month its very cheap with no restrictions on how long you are on line. AOL's pop up and spam controls are fantastic, they really work. I don't even get adds for Viagra. lol

They check for spyware and adware, they range from annoying such as spawning pop-ups to a major security risk such as recording passwords and keystrokes and sending them across the web.
Personally I'd run both Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware to make sure you get everything.
